he accepts the pudding cup with a grateful smile, though he only runs his fingers over the edge, lost in his own thoughts; eyes resting against his boots. " fate is bullshit. " bitterness creeps into his tone, sighing, a small sheepish smile following soon after. " sorry. it just sucks, you know ? " he'd thought he was doing the right thing with all of this, but the lawyer... he'd used stuff he'd thought had been spoken in confidence, stuff he hadn't agreed to. things that hurt the people he cared about most. " i don't know how to do that. i can't see him, talk to him... or -- or chris... " for a moment, he allows his fear to swallow everything else, lids fluttering closed, drawing in a ragged breath, fingers curling to a fist at his side. " this is a mess, harls. "

@defectiveprts said : “ fate brought us together then tore us apart. ” // big dreams, big city starters.
" mmm, " she hums in agreement, doing her best to suppress the amused smile that tugs at her lips. something about the way he says it makes her think this runs a little deeper than losing a friend, but that's his business. ultimately, she's glad to see one of their most frequent-flying patients here for reasons unrelated to his immediate life-threatening peril. but this issue with his blood thinners and not going back to work and the lawsuit... it's clearly weighing on him. she extends the pudding cup to him with what she hopes is an understanding and comforting half-smile. " fate can be a cruel mistress, " she murmurs, taking the seat next to him. " so you can't talk to him right now because of the lawsuit... is there some other way you could let him know you still care? that this all isn't going the way you expected? "

i cannot explain how simultaneously complexly fascinating and deeply hilarious this fucking intimate coming out scene between flint and silver is in the s3 finale of black sails.
like. imagine you are james flint. you have a horrible secret tragic backstory you won't tell anyone about how you became the fearsome and capable pirate captain you are today. that tragic backstory involves being the bisexual unicorn for a rich couple's poly triad dreams in 1700s england. you confide in someone outside of this dynamic for the first time after everything happened about what happened because they asked to know. you bare your soul uncharacteristically about being bisexual, polyamorous, and griefstricken. nobody else but one person in your life has seen this of you. the person you confide this to is someone that genuinely worried about you killing them in front of your entire crew like, literally 10 days ago, for confessing to betraying you abt smth that took months of efforts and dozens of death to try to achieve. this person, who is the most kindly understanding and softspoken person on your ship of ragtag hardened pirates, looks you in the eyes by the soft lighting of the campfire under cover of nightfall after burying literal and now metaphorical secrets, and says, in order, to your FACE, that 1) firstly he is a hashtag gay ally (in the 1700s) and so sorry for your loss but 2) he's been thinking lately it's kind of weird everybody around flint dies and he doesn't want to be next bc everybody flint trusts is a dead man walking bc 3) hey flint have you ever considered maybe it's your fault this happened and that you are doomed bc of just who you are as a person? and 4) but it's okay actually bc if it came down to it i think i've grown as a person enough that if anyone dies in this partnership it will be you 😤
like. to his face. i repeat, to the face of the most feared pirate this side of the americas, who has considered killing him within the past month or two, who opened up to silver in the most baring way possible for a regular man, much less a man like flint--to his FACE silver said that "maybe the homophobia you experienced that ruined your entire life was actually your fault for existing and everybody you love is doomed to die because being around you is a curse :/" in the most GENTLY understanding tone of voice while staring deeply into his eyes and professing genuine care and friendship and respect for him.
i'd lose my mind. i'd implode. no fucking wonder flint takes a preparatory, longsuffering swig of liquor with the most exasperated expression i've ever seen on a 40+yo man's face the literal second silver's mouth is open for longer than 2 sentences. silver is SO goddamn lucky this man stopped seeing him as an enemy 6 weeks ago and instead switched to begrudgingly ominous mentor and weird older brother.
and they're both still being friendly about it like silver isn't casually portending one of their deaths because of the other because of the inherent darkness of their souls and like flint hasn't killed men on his own crew for saying less than this behind his back. this is fucking insane energy. i want to study them both. i want to microwave them at high heat. i want to put them in a jar and shake it. you two really live like this?

✎ mission: baby steps !
Tumblr media
- gojo satoru x reader
the three times gojo tried to make his baby love him (and how he miserably fails)
genre: full crack, dad!gojo being a sore loser, your baby being mean (he only wants peace, really), and obviously, fluff !!
note: a little thing for father's day ehe <3 i know i said i'll work on smut in the polls next but uhhh, this comes first ok?! :') i just love the idea of gojo vs baby don't mind me *sobs* and all the scenario here come from the tiktok/reels you've sent me!
a part of gojo's love entries
general masterlist
Tumblr media
There are many things that come with being a jujutsu sorcerer, and when you are Gojo Satoru, those things seem to be multiplying like bunnies.
This essentially means less time with his wife and baby. Look, he could finish missions fast, but when sent to other cities, even he couldn't abuse his teleportation powers all the time to return to Tokyo.
And so, as much as he hated it, he couldn't fault his baby boy for forgetting him.
"Look, it's papa," you rocked your son with a smile, consoling him as he wailed right after Satoru held him. "Don't cry, don't cry! Papa just got back from a long mission, he's not scary!"
"Is he scared of me?" Ouch. The thought prickled him. It somehow felt sourer than seeing Principal Gakuganji's face.
You hummed, seemingly (or comically?) deep in thought. "Hmm, in baby's point of view: a big, bad man suddenly picks him up, of course he's scared."
"I'm not a bad man!"
Okay, he wasn't having this. Satoru adored his baby to bits and he would want him to at least know it. It's settled then—he would be taking paid leave just to spend some time with his baby.
This would be his mission for the next three days!
DAY ONE
The day started off great. Baby Gojo was relatively calm, a bit fussy here and there but Satoru could definitely handle him.
"Look, a plane is coming!" he said playfully, moving the spoon in the air to attract his baby's attention. "Open your mouth wide!"
Baby blinked at him with the straightest face ever. His two blue orbs were the very same as his father, and yet they held disinterest so great that it was a wonder Satoru didn't notice.
He then playfully smooched baby's face, but he scrunched up, cringing in response.
And later, another achievement unlocked: Satoru successfully got his son to sleep for his afternoon nap!
"You're so cute, sigh." Satoru poked his baby's cheek lightly. "You look like me, but when you sleep, you totally look like your mama..."
He might not say it out loud, but one of his favorite sights lately was seeing you sleep next to your son. Both of you looked so precious and vulnerable, so alike, and it made him warm.
And whenever he looked at this little creation between you and him, he also got the urge to poke him so bad.
So he did. Only this time, he poked him a little too hard.
And how wrong that move was.
His son immediately cracked his eyes open, his lips quivered, and then his whole face scrunched up, followed by—
"WAAA!"
"Oof! Wait— I'm sorry!"
Long story short, he refused to be held in Satoru's arms, so you took over and your husband could only watch you with dissatisfaction.
"Won't you let me hold you?" he asked despondently, pulling up a pitiful face and batting his eyelashes. "I have the warmest hugs! Mama can vouch for that!"
"Satoru, he doesn't want you."
DAY ONE RESULT : FAILED
DAY TWO
Okay, his baby would love him today. Satoru was sure of it.
He had ordered this baby ride-on toy via home shopping and not only that, he would play with him!
"Here we goo~! Honk! Honk!" Satoru steered the little vehicle with his son at the backseat, hyping him up and even made a weird sound that was supposed to resemble a... train?
You watched them both, giggling. Your husband looked positively ridiculous as he was too big for the small vehicle, but still persisted in entertaining your clueless baby behind him. "Oh my, Satoru, you're trying way too hard."
"I have to!" he retorted, sending pout and a glare at the same time. "You can't hog him all the time, he's my son too!"
"Well, good luck~ as it happens, your spawn isn't easy to impress."
"Just so you wait—!" Satoru begrudgingly shot you a look, eaten up by your taunts, not noticing the wall in front of him. "By the end of today, he'll— whoaaa!"
He was about to crash into the said wall, and you were prepared to jump to save your baby first. But then, Satoru did the next best thing to stop it—jumping out of the ride-on, rolling onto the floor... and crashing into the bookshelf that some of the things fell. "Ow!"
"Are you okay!?" you immediately picked up your baby before checking him over. However, Satoru's eyes were transfixed on your shared munchkin.
"Meh heh~"
And you too when you heard it— your baby was wiggling, all smiles, seemingly amused by the sight of his papa lying there pitifully. Satoru was aghast.
"Y-you have no filial piety!"
DAY TWO RESULT : FAILED
DAY THREE
Today, Satoru had gotten inside the playpen and brought a bunch of toys, planning to entertain his son with all of them.
"C'mon, don't throw that!" he pursed his lips when his kid flung the lego away. "Don't you want to play together with me?"
No. As if saying that, the baby crawled away from him. He seemed to have a target in mind though.
"Oi, what are you doing?" Satoru was puzzled, but he was in for a surprise when the child rose slowly.
"Oh, you're pushing yourself up..." he stated, observing how the baby, still wobbly, clutched on the edge of his playpen for support.
A huge grin spread across his face then. "Aww, look at you!" he gushed with pride. "You can stand already! Ooh!"
And suddenly, the sight tugged at his heartstrings. This was the first time he had ever witnessed such a milestone. He wasn't here when he first started teething or crawling, and now that he was here when his son was standing... he wanted to see more of this.
"Now, can you take a step?" Satoru moved closer to him, and the kid turned to him with those clear blue eyes and a little frown, seemingly unsure. "Go! Go! Come to me!"
He didn't think he would actually try to walk. But he did as baby let go of the support, alas suddenly he slipped—
And fell flat on his face.
"—! Are you hurt?!" Satoru immediately plucked him off the floor, horrified, and pulled him close when the baby started to sniffle. Soon, he began to wail inconsolably.
"Oh no, I'm sorry, I'm sorry—!" he didn't even know why he was apologizing, but seeing his baby so frightened made his chest tighten. "Stop crying, oh wait—let's find mama!"
You were engrossed in your evening TV series when Satoru came barging to the living room with your poor son while being hysterical. "Help him!"
"What happened?!"
"He fell! He fell!"
Of course, your main concern was to comfort your baby, and so you reached out to take him from your husband's arms, only that...
"Huh...?" even Satoru was stunned when his son clutched onto his shirt, continuing to cry but refusing to let go, burying his little face into him.
Suddenly, he felt warm, he felt needed, and most of all, his desire to protect him was so overwhelming that he couldn't help but squeeze him closer.
You looked between the father and son, feeling giddy at the sight.
"He wants you," you finally smiled, patting baby's back. Satoru glanced between you and his precious pumpkin, seemingly taken aback as he blinked several times. When the fact sank in, he felt like a mush and pressed a kiss on his head.
The clown was convinced that his kid hates him and you are the savior. So, the fact that this little innocent being wanted him to comfort him... it made his heart flutter.
"Sorry, kid," he sighed into him, smushing his face to his little one's. "Don't cry, yeah? You're making me sad too."
"Satoru... are you getting glassy-eyed?"
"...am not!"
DAY THREE RESULT : DUBIOUS OUTCOME
Tumblr media
"He's asleep..." you placed your baby between you and Satoru on the bed later that night, he was now so peaceful, out like a light.
Satoru turned to face you and the baby, looking at both of you with a yawn, but a soft smile lit his face when he saw how you pecked his son's cheek lightly.
These three days made him almost forget that curses still existed out there. Spending time with his son blurred that fine line between reality and a perfect daydream.
"He is still so little, but he screams so loud," he mused, poking the baby's cheek gently. You swatted his hand away, worried he might poke too hard again.
"You keep teasing him, that's why."
"—? He keeps playing me, is why!"
You two burst into quiet giggles then, and you couldn't help but reminiscing about the journey from when you first found out you were expecting, through the first ultrasound, and all the way to delivering your son.
And it seemed like Satoru had an inkling of what you were thinking when he suddenly blurted:
"Thank you, for everything you do," he whispered then, his eyes crinkled so softly at you.
You playfully huffed to hide your misty eyes, and in that moment, Satoru knew, that you too were glad for this life you two shared.
. . .
And that, in and of itself, was enough for him to thank all the stars for bringing him to meet you in that most beautiful spring of 2006.
Tumblr media
Epilogue
It was morning, and baby was awoken by... sounds.
He looked to the side to find his mama there— your hand on his tummy to prevent him from rolling.
And then he turned to the other side to find his papa... who is perfectly still, but emanating this low sounds with each breath he took.
The longer he heard it, the more irritated your munchkin felt. So he rose, put his fists together, and came down on him—
Whack!
"—?!" Satoru groaned when something hit his face, and he opened his eyes only to see his son readying his punch again—
"W-why are you hitting me!" he was mortified. "H-help! Sweets, wake up! He’ll murder me!”

"LIKE YOU?"
'you're not sure where you and Eddie stand so you ask him.'
eddie munson x reader/ eddie munson x gn!reader
warning(s): language, pre-established relationship, brief implication of mature themes. NOT PROOFREAD.
a/n: not sure if it's been written before but it came to me and I just had to.
you guys were under the sheets, limbs were intertwined, trying to catch your breaths. eddie's hand maneuvered into yours, bringing it up to his mouth and pecking it before turning over to lay one on your temple. and while he got up to use the restroom, and grab a cloth, you still laid there, thinking.
your hands clasped over your chest as your tongue swiped your lower lip. the sudden question that came over had you turning to your side, lifting yourself up, as you stared at where Eddie went.
"eddie?"
you heard him hum out a response in return before he appeared at the door, leaning against it. the question leaving your mouth without much effort.
"you like me, right?"
"like you?" He repeated back with his brows raised, more so to make sure he heard you right the first time. his eyes panning over your frame as you nodded. he was used to you asking him the most out of pocket things but this one took the top. where was this coming from? why would you ask such a thing? and if it hadn't been for the way it was said, eddie would've assumed you were pulling his leg.
but there you were, sitting on the bed, looking at him with the straightest face ever.
"I love you." It was simple really. no further words to be said on where he stood.
"no- but do you like me?" you reiterated, making sure to enounce the last sentence. eddie's brows pulled in more, letting a sigh go as he wiped his hand over his forehead.
"w-we're engaged for gods sake, of course I still like you."
a/n: feedback and support is appreciated.

"You are the most persistent person that I've ever met in my life."
Tumblr media
In which, Megumi's sure he could never rival your bravery. You had the audacity to ask if he'd go on a date with you almost the exact moment the two of you met. By some luck, he finally agreed after he got stuck with you and his classmates in a mall and now he's not sure what to do with himself. He better not have fallen for a random ditzy girl.
"What?"
"Can you take me out?"
"..."
"..."
"Like... Take you out... With a gun?" Megumi squinted at the girl, deciding to play stupid to spare his mental stability.
He has not yet been able to decide if he's being tricked or tested in the thirty seconds he's been around you and your antics.
You were just a random girl carrying a volleyball in one hand and a drink in another. He had bumped into you and apologized but now you were just standing here and flirting with him as if you had nowhere to be. Heck, maybe you didn't have anywhere to be.
You had the straightest face too so he really wasn't sure if you meant that you wanted him to kill you or not. He was feeling like he shouldn't indulge you but he was going to let you anyway.
"You’re funny, but the answers no. I meant take me out on a date." You chuckle, an unbothered smile gracing your face.
It was a nice smile but it threw Megumi off. He had always seen confessions with people all red-faced and shy so this wasn't what he was expecting. You didn't seem at all embarrassed by your request for a companion on a date.
"... You... I don't even know your name." Megumi hesitantly replied.
"Y/N L/N, that's my name."
A small tick mark formed right under his eye as if he was frustrated with your presence. In reality he was just about to have his brain seize up if you didn't stop doing whatever it was you were trying to do. You just seemed so unbothered by your confession to liking him, a stranger, that it was messing up his composure.
How the heck does one react to someone they just accidentally bumped into asking them for a date? Who even were you? He was in a damn subway station with you so what were you trying to get into?
"... So... Would you take me on a date? Or would you rather I take you on one? Both seem like pretty good options." You joked, tilting your head to the side when Megumi avoids your gaze.
"... I-I don't get it, what... Why would you even want to date me? We just met." Megumi stuttered.
He was feeling an impending headache from all these direct questions and answers. In no way was Megumi hesitant about being rude and turning people down but there was something different about you and it was frustrating him. For some reason he didn't want to hurt your feelings even though there was no way he'd say yes.
At least you were pretty calm about your request, like you understood that it wasn't an appropriate question for the situation and you wouldn't be unhappy if he had said no.
"... Well... Huh, how do I explain this... I don't really have a good answer." You mumble quietly to yourself, tossing your volleyball up in the air before catching it again. "Hypothetically speaking, would me saying to you that I find you attractive not be a good enough response?"
"... Well... It's certainly a response." Megumi grumbled under his breath, looking away so that you wouldn't see his blush.
Megumi wasn't sure if he was dreaming or if he was sick because this was legitimately crazy. What type of courage did you have that you could just stand there without any shame as you told him that you thought he was good looking?
"... Not a good one I assume?" You asked.
"Not really." Megumi replied, just listening to that awkward silence between you and him.
"... So would you take me out on a date?"
Was this girl serious?
"I mean... I just met you."
"... Yep... So would you?"
"... Maybe... If we meet again."
"Well... That sounds like a plan." You playfully reply, finally blushing a bit before taking a sip of your drink.
Maybe wanting to see you blush was a bad idea. He wanted to see it just to make sure you were human but now it was making him blush. How annoying.
"You don't really seem disappointed." Megumi finally commented, trying not to make any type of expression as he sheepishly scratched the back of his head.
"Well I know it's a weird question to ask someone you just met and I can't force you to take me out on a date." You laugh, barely paying attention to the shuttle that just arrived.
"Why did you want to talk to me anyway?"
"I just thought you were a really romantic looking kind of person and I should talk to you. I figured you'd say no anyway."
"Sure." He huffed out, feeling warmth engulf his face again. He was no doubt flustered again, probably beet red and it made him feel more embarrassed.
"Well is it okay if you tell me your name?" You ask, not wanting to keep him up any further since he was probably one of the people getting on the shuttle.
Megumi briefly looked at you, he was so confused about what was happening and for some reason he didn't actually want to leave yet.
"It's Fushiguro." Megumi mumbled before following everyone else onto the train.
"No full name?" You inquired, teasing him just a bit even though you weren't sure you'd even see this guy again. All you know is that you liked this guy a lot and wanted to talk.
Megumi almost groaned at the question. You were definitely persistent when it came to what you wanted, that was something he could respect at least.
"Megumi... Megumi Fushiguro."
"That's a pretty name, alright I won't hold you up any longer. Bye handsome." You waved, watching as he turned around entirely and walked into the shuttle without waving back at you. You embarrassed him to no end.
You sighed before walking out of the subway station, waiting right up front of the stairs where your friend had asked up to meet with you.
You figured that Megumi Fushiguro thought you were crazy but you didn't mind one bit. If you ever did see him again, you'd definitely try to shoot your shot a second time since he seemed so down to earth and cool.
...
"Fushiguro right?"
"Yeah, that's my name." He tiredly sighed.
"Can I call you Megumi?"
Megumi looked at you, another tick mark forming on his forehead. Naturally he would say no but the way you asked with your gentle tone and kind smile was making him cave. Great, this was humiliating.
"Uh... Sure I guess."
"Well... This is kind of like a date, no?" You almost laughed, trying not to bother the frustrated looking boy anymore than you already had.
It had been about two weeks give or take since you first met each other at the subway station. Now he had accidentally bumped into you yet again, almost dropping his coffee before he turned around to apologize and he recognized you.
Then he actually dropped his coffee.
Thankfully you offered to buy him another one and even though he didn't want to give in to you, he agreed… Since he still wanted some coffee. So now you were just a happy girl walking with Fushiguro to wherever he was going. You had bought him a coffee and had gotten yourself a small box of cake to eat for later.
"Uh... This isn't a date." Megumi corrected, not wanting to think that you had gotten what you wanted.
"Are you sure? This seems like it would be a pretty nice romantic walk don't you think?"
"Yeah I'm sure." Megumi sighed, looking at literally anything and everything but you. Why would you say romantic? It had him almost choking on his coffee.
"... Well how about we're just hanging out then?" You smiled at him, getting just a bit closer as you walked next to him.
Megumi sipped his coffee a bit before looking at you, feeling conflicted about it. It's not like he liked you or anything, cause he definitely didn't that was for sure...
He didn't even want to hang out, he was an antisocial person and he shouldn't indulge you anymore.
I mean c'mon, he knew the whole love at first sight thing wasn't real and he still barely knew anything about you. Though love at first sight seemed like you, as if you were some delusional hopeless romantic.
He could afford to indulge you a bit more... Right?
Just a little bit more.
"Sure this can just be a hang out." He finally replied, gaining one of the most precious smiles from anyone he's ever seen.
"That's good, then maybe I can get you to date me after."
"That's not going to happen."
"Why not? We know each other a little bit better now I think."
"Yeah? I still barely know you." Megumi smiled a bit, trying not to be too open with her even though he found her... Almost fun to be around.
"Yep, you drink black coffee and I like cake-"
"Most people like cake-"
"And barely anyone likes black coffee, that's something unique about you."
"But liking cake isn't unique."
"Jeez, you're missing the point." You huffed, feeling frustrated until you heard a small chuckle come from him.
"Well I think that's fine because I'm making my own point," Megumi replied, fully unbothered by your frustrated expression. "we're still technically strangers. At best we'd be acquaintances."
"Can't you tell me a bit about yourself if that's what you think?"
"Absolutely not." Megumi mumbled before taking another drink out of his coffee.
"Well can I talk a little bit about myself?" You ask, yawning a bit.
"Knock yourself out-"
"Cool, I just switched schools and I play volleyball there. At my other school I just used to be one of those people in the suits, like those big fluffy animal mascots? Yep, that was me and then I recently got a job at this skating rink-"
You just kept rambling as you followed him and honestly, Megumi wasn't expecting you to just dive into a topic about yourself so quickly.
As annoying as hearing you talk about yourself first sounded to him, he found himself listening as if he was enamoured in your life story, though it was all over the place and you jumped from one topic to the next.
Then of course there had to be this annoying, frustrating, mind consuming, grating voice that made Megumi want to find some painkillers.
"Megumi!"
"Oh, who's that?" You asked, tilting your head to look back at the white haired man with the black blindfold. Why was he wearing a blindfold?
"... That's my teacher." Megumi groaned, turning around to face the man.
"Hey! Who's your friend?" Gojo smiled at you, gaining a small smile back and a bow of her head.
"This is L/N-"
"Don't call me that, you can just call me Y/N since I'm calling you Megumi." You interrupted, getting Gojo to raise an eyebrow.
"... Okay." Megumi blushed, turning his gaze to the concrete instead of you.
"It's nice to meet you sir." You greet Gojo as he gives you a thumbs up.
"Nice to meet you too little lady, my names Gojo."
"Right... What were we even talking about again?" You turned to Megumi, watching as he continued to sip on his cup of coffee
"Someone name Yoko."
"Oh right! Then there's Yoko, he hates me for the most part so I don't mess with him even though I have to see him for advanced math almost everyday and then there's my teacher named Mr. Touya-"
Gojo's smile brightened ever so slightly, watching as this girl just kept talking about random stuff that most people wouldn't really care about. He then looked at Megumi, watching as he payed attention to you and Gojo already knew something he probably shouldn't.
He grinned before playfully elbowing Megumi, Megumi just grunted and smacked his elbow away but that didn't stop him from listening to your crazy life story.
"So unfortunately we lost that competition but at the same time I didn't expect much from it when I don't know how to dance all that well anyway and then my mom helped with- Oh my gosh you wanna know something?!"
Gojo internally laughed at how cute you were and he had to bite the inside of his cheek to stop any noise from coming out. Megumi jumped, almost dropping his cup again from your sudden yelling. You scared him for no reason.
"What!? What happened to your mother!?" Megumi frantically asked.
"Huh?"
"...Huh!?" Megumi yelled, his eye twitched a bit. You were talking about your mom and then you suddenly asked if he wanted to know something in a panicked voice. So what the hell did you mean now by 'huh?'
"Huh what?"
"What happened to your mother?" He asked again, taking a breath and lowering his voice ever so slightly so it didn't seem like he was yelling at you. Gojo just started giggling, silently thanking himself for setting up this time that he'd meet up with Megumi since he got to meet you now.
"... Oh! Nothing happened to my mother but I just remembered that my dad is making plans to take me to Paris in like a three weeks since he's working there overseas!" You yelled in excitement, smiling at Megumi as if nothing was the matter.
Megumi is pretty sure he just short-circuited cause how are you able to jump from one conversation to another like that? He could say it was annoying but instead it made him want to know more even though it was drastically draining his social battery.
"Yep... So that's my life, what's yours?"
"... Um... You think just because you've shared your life with me you'll find out about mine?"
"... Well why not?!" You asked, shrugging your shoulders. I mean, you did just tell this boy everything interesting about you and your life in the span of ten minutes.
"It's because he's antisocial but don't worry, I'm sure he liked it-"
"Shut up." Megumi harshly glared at his teacher before sighing when he heard you laugh.
"I guess that's alright then, well I'll see you later then huh Megumi?"
"Yeah I guess-"
"Oh wait! Can I ask you again?"
"Ask me what?" Megumi plays dumb again, hoping you won't pursue this while Gojo's here.
"If you'll take me out."
"Oh! That'd be sweet but now that I think about it, he's getting some of his teeth removed in a few days so maybe not!" Gojo interrupted, teasing the situation even more whilst getting hit in the back by Megumi. He didn’t care since his infinity stopped the attack anyway
"I mean, no I'm not taking you out... At least not yet." Megumi mumbled the last part, Gojo looking at him before pouting while you just smiled.
"Alright then, I'll see you soon and hopefully I can get you to change your mind."
"Bye little lady!" Gojo waved with a bright smile, Megumi just nodding his head in your direction before continuing his walk.
And with that, you were off, waving goodbye at the two as you parted ways.
It was silent for a good twenty seconds and even though Megumi had hope that Gojo wouldn't talk about this, he knew not to believe in it fully.
"So who was that lovely girl?"
"She's L/N, I just met her like two weeks ago... Don't lie about me like that again with her-"
"Are you guys dating? Oh my gosh Is she your girlfriend? You two don’t take each other’s innocence ! You're too young for that!"
"What the hell!? No! We're just acquaintances damnit! Now drop it!"
...
Megumi didn't ask for this. Megumi didn't want to be here right now. Megumi would much rather be cooking with Maki than in a mall with you.
Nobara and Yuji had wanted to go to the mall to buy some clothes and other things so that's where they were going, Megumi unfortunately not having a choice as Gojo brought him along.
But somehow, he found himself meeting you once again and accidentally bumping into you... Yet again. He of course apologized but it seemed like it was no longer a coincidence that he kept bumping into you, it couldn't be.
The only unfortunate thing about this was the fact that he was with his classmates and annoying teacher and it made this so much more embarrassing when he knew what would happen.
Gojo had already ratted him out to Nobara and Yuji about you, claiming you were his girlfriend even though he had to yell over Gojo to correct him. If they saw you now with him, they would embarrass him to no end just like they did with the random woman that had asked him for directions.
"Hey Megumi! How are-"
"Don't be so loud." He mumbled, grabbing onto your forearm to move you to another part of the store as quickly as humanly possible.
"I wasn't being loud, what's wrong?"
"Nothing, I just don't wanna be here."
He wasn't trying to get caught in all of this because you were so bold and he was so reserved there was no way his dignity would survive, especially since you liked him so damn much.
"You're being kind of pushy y'know that? Are you taking me on that date now?" You replied giddily, happy to see him as you walked with him and left your area to follow Fushiguro.
"Don't ask me that question anymore, you're the most persistent person that I've ever met in my life."
"Aw c'mon, it's not like I'd be boring. I could be a great date-"
"Y'know what? Fine, I'll take you out on a date later just shush!" Megumi hissed and finally he let you go, sighing and turning around before his face froze up. Shoot, not Yuji. He always tattletaled when Megumi talked with any girl.
So Megumi quickly got on all fours to crawl under the clothing racks, not bothering to bring you with him and just opting to peek his head out to converse with you.
"Where are you going?" You quietly asked him, flabbergasted at the sight of this stoic boy bringing himself to such a desperate place that he was hiding from someone.
"I need you not to mention me at all okay, they don't need to be asking-"
"Who?"
"Nobody, they're just annoying people that brought me here today against my will."
"Then I guess I should thank them since I get to see your handsome face again don't you think? And you're going to take me on a date." You smile, not caring a bit when Megumi's face got all red again.
Hr groaned when he looked behind you. Yuji had found his way towards this scandalous situation.
Yukon wasn't expecting Megumi to be crawling under something like that and talking to a cute girl whilst they talk about dating. She called him handsome, how sweet.
"Um... Hey, what's your name?"
You turned around, facing the boy with pink hair and the same school uniform as Megumi had.
"Y/N L/N, what's your's?"
"Oh! I'm Yuji Itadori, I've heard a lot about you!" He greeted, giving you his hand to shake.
"Really? That's nice."
"Hey Kugisaki! Gojo Sensei! Guess who Fushiguro found?!" Itadori yelled, gaining the other two's along with literally everyone else in the stores attention.
Megumi embarrassingly crawled out of his hiding space, regretting even coming here because he didn't want any of this. Though now that he thinks about it, it seemed kind of impossible for you to feel flustered so it was more like he didn't want to be thrown under the bus in front of you.
"Who?" Nobara walked over, yawning as if she was fully uninterested in what he had to say.
"The girl that Megumi's into!"
Megumi cringed when Yuji had said it that way and took it upon himself to smack Yuji upside the head while you were preoccupied with everyone else.
"Oh really?! I'm Nobara Kugisaki, the best girl here besides you of course." She immediately smiled at you before placing her hand on her hip with some sass. Now she was fully interested in what was going on.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Y/N!" You smiled, taking into account what Yuji had said. If you really were the girl that Megumi was interested in, then maybe he'd finally say yes this time.
"Well little lady, we were about to go eat together. You wanna come join us?"
"I'd like that, if it's okay with you Megumi." You nodded, Fushiguro sighing before he replied with a small 'sure'. Yuji and Nobara almost squealed at you calling him by his first name.
So you and everyone else finished buying whatever they had gotten from the store, Nobara immediately decided that she would get you some cute dresses and stuff while Yuji just talked to you.
You seemed interesting enough and you must have been a pretty impressive person to get Megumi's attention.
"Yeah that's how we found out that not only is Megumi dislexic but he has like twenty different varieties of gel for his hair. Not to mention all the romance novels he has-"
"I do not have romance novels in my dorm room." Megumi growled with a threatening glare pointed at her. She just laughed and continued talking even though Megumi having to correct her every ten seconds about what she was saying to you.
He shouldn't have cared, it shouldn't have mattered to him whether or not they tried to tease him and you. After all, It's not like he actually liked you... He couldn't like you... At least not really, he just met you like three weeks ago.
"Yeah Kugisaki, don't lie about stuff like that when they'd be so cute together. Just like Gojo would say, "Get off of him, you damn homewreckers!" Though the gel thing is completely true." Yuji teased, only adding fuel to the flame.
"I'm going to kill all of you." Megumi grumbled in-between his teeth. You just laughed, almost dying at how hilarious it was that they were teasing him.
"You shouldn't kill us." Gojo stated with a teasing expression. "especially when we're going to be the ones at your wedding-"
"Stop it!"
...
"So where would you take me?"
"I don't know... Probably like a cafe or something." Megumi replied, almost forgetting that he had actually said yes to you by some miracle.
Though he kind of realized that he had been lying to himself for a bit. It's not like he outwardly liked you like you did him.
But he was lying about not falling for you. At least he wanted to be around you and that was something since he almost never wanted to be around anyone.
"Well it's a good thing you gave me your phone number so now I can text you about it later." You smiled, looking up at the sunset colored sky.
"I guess."
Yuji, Nobara, and Gojo were trying their best to be inconspicuous about spying. Megumi and you had just walked out of the food court to talk outside and they couldn't help themselves since they were like annoying, eavesdropping children.
"What that boy Itadori said, was it true?"
"What did he say?"
"That you're into me?"
Megumi had to refrain from letting a scowl come onto his face. He was definitely going to smack the shit out of Yuji when they got back to campus.
Then again, he might as well tell the truth. Was he into you at the moment? Hypothetically speaking he shouldn't be since the two of you still didn't know each other that well but in reality, yes he was into you.
He blames you for it, it's your fault he's into you.
"Yeah." He finally responded, making you surprised. You didn't think he would actually say yes, you were just bringing it up to tease him.
"... Really? I'm into you too."
"I know that, you started off with that when we first met." Megumi chuckled, looking at you with a calm face.
He wasn't annoyed, stressed out or frustrated, he didn't look like he might strangle someone at that moment and it just made you more excited. He had a soft side that he was sharing with you for just a bit.
"Right."
"..."
"..."
"I can't actually believe you're going to be taking me on a date!" You smile, having quite the hard time holding your excitement in.
"Yeah, well I can't really believe it either. I can't even really believe that I like you so imagine how I feel."
Nobara sighed, getting bored as she watched the love birds stand in silence. It wasn't like this was annoying she just wasn't trying to wait this long to see some results.
"Shh!" Yuji whisper yelled, elbowing Nobara only to get elbowed back.
"Ow! Quit it!"
"Shut up! I don't-"
"They're gonna notice us." Gojo lifted up his blindfold while talking to the two, effectively getting Yuji and Nobara to be quiet.
"Welp, I gotta go anyway but it was nice to see you again, and meet your friends." You smiled at Megumi, getting a nod from him in return. The spying company had successfully evaded your attention.
"I'll see you later."
"Alright, bye- Oh wait!" You quickly turned around and surprised Megumi when you came close enough to him to kiss his cheek.
And then you were off, waving Megumi goodbye as if you didn't do anything at all. But Megumi knew what you did and he felt it, a light and yet tender kiss.
His face got all red again, he could feel it and his chest did the thing where it beats way too fast. He was gonna have heart failure soon If you didn't stop.
"Woah!"
Megumi turned around, looking at the voice only to glare at the three that were hiding in a bush. They weren't even quiet about it, they looked so obvious it was annoying.
"Did you see that? It was so cute!" Gojo gushes, eyeing the picture of the two that Yuji took.
"Hell yeah it was! The picture turned out great!"
"It did?! Let me see it! Oh my gosh that's so sweet! And they're going to have their first date together too?!" Nobara smirked.
"This is so great damnit and they have so much chemistry! I'll bet you ten hundred yen that they'll end up in the same bed in like a month-" Yuji started, already taking out some money to show off until he got cut off by a voice.
"I'm giving you all five seconds." Was all Megumi said as he stood in front of the bush and that was their cue to get their asses back into the mall before he called one of his shikigami to eat them.

what’s yours is mine (9/?)
previous masterlist next
pairing: geto suguru x reader x gojo satoru
You don’t know a lot of things, and you readily admit that. What you do know, is that the friends you’ve made aren’t something you will ever regret. Until your physical body weakens and becomes nothing, you’re more than happy to give your all until you wither away.
What’s yours can be theirs, too. They’re your friends, after-all. (Omegaverse AU)
Your sense of smell is getting duller. At least, that’s what you think as you awaken to the sound of snoring in your ear and Suguru’s breathing on your shoulder. You can’t seem to catch the whiffs of the spiciness that once permeated the Geto home, or how your Mama used to smell like soft, warm honey as well anymore.
It’s frustrating— Now that everybody sometimes smells like their detergent; or like nothing. You can’t really associate anybody with any foods anymore.
It’s sad.
But your eyesight is still there, you suppose. So you can turn your head to the side to catch how rays of sunlight were flittering in through those fancy white curtains Suguru has.
There were no more bright oranges in the sky, no more swirly light pinks and fluffy yellows that had their rays hitting your eyes and making you squint at the light that Mama had warned you countless times not to stare directly at.
Luckily for her, what’s left were the beginnings of a dark horizon and the whirring of Suguru’s AC as you stare up at his ceiling, eyes steadily trying to get used to the spots of black and the dry feeling in your mouth.
One thing about taking naps in the late afternoon is that your body only ever seems to awaken just in time to miss the sunset that you so dearly love.
Your hand twitches awake as you experimentally move your leg, only to find a drooling Gojo Satoru asleep atop of you as you blink blearily, his limbs thrown over and onto you like some sort of pseudo-hug.
If you counted how his arms and legs are clinging onto you much like a koala to a tree branch as a hug, anyway. You can’t exactly move a lot right now.
“Satoru… You’re heavy…”
No response. Just his snores and even more drool on your shirt as you squeeze Suguru’s sleeping hand.
“Suguru…?” A grunt and a furrow of his brow— That relaxes soon after. He’s not awake either.
It’s also at this time of day that you wonder what you were doing beforehand. You’re pretty sure you’re on Suguru’s bed, pretty sure the side of your face feels kind of sore from being pressed against the pillow for too long and your fingers stiff from subconsciously gripping onto Suguru’s shirt.
Your brain is slowly starting to work again, you think.
S… Hoko— Left a while back, you’re pretty sure. Left a bit after she got a got a call on her cellphone that you were so intrigued by whilst she slowly taught you how to call a number on it.
She really is super cool.
If you had to say, had to tell yourself something to wake your sleepy brain up and to forget how dry your mouth feels— You’d probably start thinking about your friends to count your blessings.
Because that’s already 3 blessings in total. That’s not a lot, but you’re not counting the plenty of others that you’re sure you have.
Ieiri Shoko was someone almost comparable to Gojo Satoru. Almost— Because there just isn’t anyone out there you know of who can match his level when it comes to wealth and social standing and power.
(And Shoko only comes close because she was the only other rich person you knew of. Are rich people really rare or do you just know too few?)
Gojo Satoru truly had it all. And if anyone could be pitted evenly against him; excluding standings of class and economic prowess, the answer immediately reroutes and makes the straightest beeline for Geto Suguru.
You’re not rich. You’re not exceedingly smart or pretty or have Satoru’s strangely large appetite for sweets. You don’t even have Suguru’s strange likability despite how skewed of a personality he can tend to have.
Where do you stand, really?
“Does it even matter?” His mouth opens far too wide, stretched into one of his lazy yawns as he stands idly, a singular duffel bag thrown over his shoulder, his green eyes squinting at your scrutinizing face.
“If you think too much your puny brain’s gonna explode.”
“But if I think too little I’ll end up with an empty head.”
“You sure ya even got anythin’ in it?”
So you pout and glare, much to his amusement and to your chagrin as your cheeks huff up, his too big hand messes with the top of your head with a chesty laugh.
“See ya ‘round, kid.”
It was a good few years with him, you think. And your teacher was definitely someone who kept his promises, even if he had to go super, super far away for his adult adventures.
(It was precedented. He always was an almost adult, anyway.)
“Don’t forget to bring Saya-chan around to show her the world.” You plop your precious, precious Ito Saya merchandise onto his open palm, her pretty face giving you memories of all the times she had given you news about the weather— Before transitioning to doing your favourite astrology tellings.
There was even an Ito Saya dehumidifier that she had personally voiced. Oh to hear your Saya-tan greet you every morning with her voice…!Oh, but unfortunately for you, the stars were not aligned in your favour that day. With 1 too many 0s on the price tag for your liking as you stared at the advertisement— And at the coins you had collected in your little shoebox.
Nope.
So you settle for your super precious ultra deluxe Ito Saya headshot from the nearby supermarket collaboration that Mama got by paying an extra ¥300 for a blind box keychain.
Fate was kind. For it was written in the stars when you so carefully ripped off the plastic to find your precious Saya-tan’s face staring right back at you.
It turned into your most precious possession, but even someone as tough and strong as your teacher needed something for good luck.
“Who the fuck is this?”
“Saya-chan.” Duh. Even Satoru knows her, and all he ever watches is Digimon and the magical girl shows you excitedly ask him and Suguru to join you for.
And there he went— Face barely fighting back an almost constipated grimace, before it morphed into one of resigned defeat as his fingers closed around the trinket in his palm.
“…right. I’ll dedicate a smoke to ‘er or something.”
“Saya-chan thinks smoking is bad for the body.”
So much for trying to be nice to you. So can you really blame him when he’s squatting down to your height to pull at your cheeks and ruffle your hair until the cute pigtails your Mama did up for you fell apart?
“Beggars don’t get to be choosers, you brat.”
Someone who really wasn’t like you, no matter how hard you tried to be him. So it really glares what your super duper knowledgeable teacher had said—
Does it really matter? When you let out a yawn and finally muster enough strength to push the snack-loving boy off of you and release Suguru’s death grip on the sleeve of your shirt, you don’t contemplate for long. It’s not like you have enough time to, if you want to catch the final rays of the fading light of today.
The sun always sets all too soon for your liking.
(“I’ll come visit you one day when I’m older.”
“Heh. If I’m not dead by then, why not?”)
——
When you all turned 10, it was like stepping into a pair of brand new shoes that you didn’t quite like the feeling of, yet didn’t quite dislike. The familiar uncomfortableness of something you’re not used to, and the uncertainty that came with it.
It’s weird having a 2 digit age.
There’s rain outside, cold and an overcast sky that made you huff into your mittens because it was just that cold, your cheeks feeling like they were kissed one too many times by Geto-mama as you shiver and make the short walk towards Suguru’s house.
(Mama had to bundle you up like this instead of just letting you run over. She’s always right, it seems. It’s really cold today.)
“Mama says I have to start thinking about what middle school I wanna go to.” It’s said through your muffler as you hurriedly unwrap it from around your neck, clumsy fingers fumbling with the buttons of your coat as you feel Suguru’s hands pat off snow from your head.
“Did you have any in mind?”
“Nope.” And once you’re finally free from your winter bindings, you just can’t help but lean forwards, until the cold socks of your feet were sliding back against the polished wood of his home, until your body lost its sense of gravity and you no longer have any control— Just to let your dear friend catch you in a trust fall, of course.
“You’ll hurt yourself one day, you know?”
“No,” You cuddle back against his warmth, taking advantage of your position to absorb every ounce of warmth he could possibly give to you. “You would never let me fall.”
Your future doesn’t really cross your mind, not when you’re at this tender age.
“Can I just go to the same school as you, Suguru?” It’s easier than picking for yourself. Easier than going around and looking at each nearby middle school 1 by 1 with Mama at your side or picking up hearsay from your classmates.
And it made you happy. So, why not?
“Hmm…” He’s still holding onto you, shivering only slightly from how cold you felt as you rub his back and feel the tickle of his hair on your nose.
“If you can get your grades up, sure.”
Wah… You think you feel defeated now, letting out a sigh and slumping until you can feel how the poor boy was struggling to hold you up. Even if he did have extra martial arts practice, you’re both still only kids after all.
“It’s okay— Hngh— To stay as you are.” He’s starting to pull you along, heaving slightly as you entrust him with full control of your entire physical being, letting your socked feet drag against the smooth wooden planks as he carefully walks backwards with you in tow. “I’ll like you as whatever you want to be.”
(“I wanna be a hero.”
“You already are one.”)
“Oh, don’t you both just look so darling!” Her hands are too preoccupied with squeezing each of your cheeks, the heavy blanket she had set over the both of you making you feel fuzzy inside.
And sleepy. Really sleepy.
“I just want to keep you both wrapped like this forever!”
(“Mama, please…!”
“Oh, yes, yes you fussy child.” She leans down to kiss his forehead as she pats your head and sneaks in a final squeeze of your cheek.
“Take your time, my cute little couple!”)
You take another satisfying sip from your cup, liquid flowing down your throat and into the cozy warmth of your tummy. Heated porcelain thaws your freezing hands and the blanket wrapped around the both of you making you want to doze off and drift off into sleep.
(You swore you just slept, though. Suguru’s house is just way too relaxing.)
“Geto-mama should be careful when she tells you you should be a couple with someone.” That should be a no brainer as you impart your oh so wise knowledge onto your friend. “You can’t just marry anybody, okay?”
It’ll be bad if he marries someone just cause Geto-mama was too friendly. Because trusting people comes easily to her zodiac sign, so she should throw more caution to the wind.
“Oh, and because picking a partner for marriage is hard. Picking just anybody Geto-mama likes will end up with you in pain.”
And you just don’t like seeing him upset.
You catch the hot blush on his face, searing red on his cheeks as he avoids eye contact and lets out an exasperated sigh.
“I-It’s fine. She just gets too excited whenever you want to come over by yourself.”
Huh. Geto-mama is quite the hopeless romantic after all. You’ve seen how hard she swoons whenever Geto-papa comes home with a wide grin and a bouquet overflowing with flowers despite being in the middle of winter.
“My Mama also says marriage isn’t always a good thing like on TV, though.” The pretty Omegas dressed to the nines in flowy white or handsome black suits, the flowers, the music, the red carpets… Honestly, if it isn’t all that good, why do people try to portray it like that? Is it really that hard to show something as it is?
So ambiguous.
“Oh. Mama also says it’s good if I can find someone who I like a lot, is pretty and who lives close by cause she’d be sad if I moved too far.”
That’s already too many prerequisites, you think. Does Mama expect someone that perfect to fall out of the sky? Ito Saya just doesn’t live in your prefecture. Not counting those, you also need someone with— Uhm… Com-pact-ability?
(Whatever that means. They always talk about it on your star sign channel, so you usually tune it out while waiting for the daily luck reports.)
Maybe it would be okay if they just liked you as is? You think you can learn to like them if they already like you. Oh, but if you already have a laundry list of things then maybe you should try those arranged marriage meetings you always see advertised on late night TV when Mama has to work overtime—
“How about me?” Quiet, gentle like a ripple against the surface of a pond. Geto Suguru always talks so soft, speaks with such an endearing tone that it offsets the stuff you catch him saying sometimes. “I fit your Mama’s requirements, no?”
But it’s a nice voice, nonetheless.
“Hmm…” If you weigh the pros of Geto-mama and Geto-papa already knowing your Mama, minus off the fact that you wouldn’t have to go through the awkward ‘meet the parents’ phase they always discuss on the Couple channel that you swear gets played too much… If you calculate the short little walk from your house to his house— “I guess I wouldn’t mind if it’s with you, Suguru.”
(“Plus, you’re really pretty. You would look like my Saya-chan if you had longer hair and added all the pretty curls and ribbons she has.”
“…right. Let’s pick a middle school that allows boys to have long hair then.”)
——
“I don’t like sweets.” Shoko looks bleak and blank as she stares down at the pudding, fingers momentarily stopping midway through the flip of her magazine. “I think my maids like them, though.”
…what? You’re flabberghasted, heartbroken, perplexed and going through perhaps, every motion possible as you slowly, slowly try to process her words.
How can anybody dislike sweets?
She stares. Blinks at your pouting, downcast expression and the unwillingness to comprehend that there were people out there who didn’t like sweet things.
So she sighs. Internally.
“It’s because…” Her eyes break contact with yours as they flicker around her surroundings in search of a good excuse. “They always serve too much. So I can’t finish ‘em.”
“Then you can share mine!”
That was how you hooked an Ieiri to spend time with you at the infamous playground, using plastic spoons to shovel your much more affordable 3-pack pudding cups into your mouths.
(At least she isn’t complaining that it wasn’t the super expensive ultra deluxe cream filled ones that Satoru likes to eat.)
“Then they told me they were both busy.” You pout as Shoko flips through another page on her magazine, spoon in her mouth and hanging from her lips.
“Huh.”
“It’s okay, though! You’re my friend too so I wanna hang out with you lots and lots and lots.”
It’s no skin off her back to be together with you, not at all a bother in her eyes to hang out beside you. Though, something has been bothering her. Something that didn’t involve you— Even if it entirely did at the same time.
It’s odd, really. You possess so much of it, yet were involved so little in its affairs.
“(name).” She has a look in her eye that you can’t really discern, a shine in her pupils that usually hinted at something more.
(You would know. She does that whenever she wants to show you a brand new 2-page spread of Ito Saya you’ve never seen before on one of her magazines.)
“Do you know why Gojo and I had to get engaged?” It’s dismissive, uncaring and almost like she was just throwing it out there and into the air.
Like she was asking another question completely different to what she just said.
“No…?” You just never really bothered to pry further, never really bothered to involve yourself in things that others don’t want you in. Therefore, it’s not your business to stick your nose in. Because everyone has their own secrets, right? They’ll tell you only if they really want to. A good lesson for everyone to learn.
And she furrows her pretty brows, her expression disbelieving and like it was in… Shock? You think? Honestly, it’s hard to tell her disgusted and surprised reactions apart.
“So… You don’t know what they’ve been doing all this time?”
“…no?”
She squints and takes in a breath, using one of her dainty hands to cover an eye to stare harder, even rubbing them before finally blinking once more.
“You have— More than enough though.” She waves her hand in the air, glaring at the empty space around you as you mimic her actions, before her hand grabs yours.
“They really didn’t tell you?”
Now you’re just sorely confused as you tilt your head to the side, head itching with confusion and your lips pursed as you try to think of every possible reason. Though, you think you’re going to get a headache if she runs anymore circles around you.
“Am I… Supposed to know?”
Then she chuckles, letting her expression flit into a smug grin and eyes that implored you to explore that unfamiliar glint more. Your hand in hers felt somehow all the more compelling, yet all the more wrong as you blink.
“So I’ll be your first, then.”
You’ve been walking for a while now… You think. In the complete opposite direction from school, from Satoru’s home, from the playground… Before you realized you haven’t exactly asked about your destination.
“I can’t attack anything so we gotta stay clear from a lot of stuff, okay?”
“Okay,” There’s barely hidden excitement and anticipation in your voice, a hop in your step as you obediently follow along. “Where are we going?”
“Mm… Far away from here, I guess.”
“Oh. Cool.” You both continue to hold hands as you pass 1 house, 2 houses, 3… There wasn’t really a direct answer despite your question. But at the same time, Shoko has never really been the best at explaining things.
“Then this part will become 21, then once you do some more math stuff you’ll get the answer like this.” Her pencil leaves your paper, neat handwriting and the final answer to the equation staring back at you as you blink at it.
“…huh?”
“It’s cause,” She squints up at the sky briefly, scratching at her hair to think a little bit more with a troubled expression on her face, before her head tilts back down to look at you. “The Gojo estate is too big and near and… Stuff. So the energy scares them off.”
“…?”
“Y’know. Like the bad stuff.” She pauses, looking you right in the eye before she points at the bleary sky. “Did you really never see how different that looks?”
So your eyes follow, trail after her finger that was pointed up and above your heads. At the sky you’re used to seeing, at the sun that was far from setting. And you realize… It looks the exact same way it always had been.
“Doesn’t it always look like that?”
And she contemplates, her hand now on her chin as her eyes close and her lips pout that little bit.
“Maybe you need glasses.”
Huh. Not a bad solution if you can’t see exactly what she was looking at, but… “Glasses are expensive. I don’t think I can ask Mama for them.”
Oh.
Ieiri Shoko is lots of things, and she is especially one who just wasn’t all that used to interacting with someone from a widely different social class just yet. So when she hears you say something like that… It makes the words that were on the tip of her tongue lose all direction.
“Right. Sorry.”
You don’t really get it at all, don’t get why she always goes quiet and looks away when at the mention of such things. It’s not like you’re embarrassed or ashamed of it— So you choose to shrug it off, to trust her as you both walk and walk, in little bits of chatter and filler conversation that you can’t help but find enjoyment in.
(“Maybe I’ll get you a pair as a gift.” If a certain someone didn’t beat her to it, that is.
“But I heard people need their eyes checked for ‘em. How are you gonna get my eye results?”
“Hmm… Want some snacks instead, then?”
“Yay.”
At least she tries her best to explain stuff more now.)
“Okay. Here.” It’s before an alleyway quite a bit further from where you’re used to venturing. Far from any of the usual buildings that you’re used to seeing, and certainly— Really dark and scary and much more ominous.
Her dainty finger points forward, points with an ascertainy that you just can’t doubt, even if you think she was pulling your leg. “What do you see?”
“A… Really ugly rat?” You feel bad for calling it that, but it really is what it is. Tendrils of black seem to emanate from it, beady blue eyes and a grotesque snout that looked like it was collapsing in on itself upon a body of black goo that tried to shape itself into limbs.
So you can see it.
“It looks like Gojo, doesn’t it?”
“Satoru’s…” You furrow your brows and frown, intently watching the almost pitiful thing as it cries out. “Way cuter than that.”
The creature gurgles at the both of you, voice distorted and squeamish, bubbles appearing upon its deformed body as it slides, twitches towards the both of you.
“That’s a cursed spirit, by the way. A really weak one.”
“Cursed… Spirit?”
“Mhm.” She moves forward, standing by your side and watching the newly introduced, slow-moving ball of black before the both of you. “It’s made of negative emotions and other bad stuff. That’s why it looks like that.”
“Do the stronger ones usually look uglier?”
“I dunno. My mama doesn’t let me go on missions yet. Gojo probably has been on some, though.”
That sounds… Dangerous. Is that why your friends have been disappearing so often lately? They’re not risking their lives out there, are they? Wait, does it mean Suguru can see them too? But how? You’re pretty sure you’ve been with them all your life, so how—
“It’s approaching you.”
“Ah…” It snaps you out of your rambles, makes your head tilt downward to be facing the disgusting thing now that it was only a few meters away.
“Don’t touch it, or get too close to it. It only wants to eat cursed energy.” She pulls you back when it inches too close for her liking. “And they’ll try to kill you, too.”
Maybe you both should’ve seen it coming, should’ve taken more caution— But even she didn’t notice how the cursed spirit was charging up a ball of vile, concentrated energy, didn’t see how it aimed right at you.
“Ah…” You barely even have a reaction, not even when it causes your blood to splatter on the ground and for the cursed spirit to shoot towards you, goo spreading and extending to expose gnashed teeth and a torn tongue that kept licking up the droplets of your blood from the ground.
It’s when your eyes widen and you both see the way it had cut into the skin of your arm, leaving a thin, crude gash that Ieiri Shoko thinks she sees red, thinks she doesn’t like the idea of something so ugly touching you.
And she stomps, and stomps— You see blood splatter and hear shrieks of a scream that sounded far too human for it to just a simple rodent— And yet, Shoko remains undisturbed throughout.
“It’s… Dead.”
Gone. Deceased. Battered into a puddle of its own guts.
“Mhm. It’ll come back after a few days though, since I can’t exorcise it.” But she’ll get someone from her family to do it later, anyway.
“It… Made your dress dirty, Shoko.” Maybe any other ordinary kid would have reacted differently, would have screamed and cried for their dear friend to spare the creature’s life, would have reacted much more to the way they could have had their life threatened.
“…huh. I guess it did.”
But your skin stings, and your eyes just can’t help but stay stuck to the way Shoko’s pretty dress had been dirtied by her efforts to save you.
Maybe you had a subconscious thought that you were perhaps worth less than the sparkly garment, maybe you thought that it didn’t hurt as much—
Or maybe you just don’t know how to react in this situation that you have yet to fully process in your head.
“Where do you get your clothes, usually?”
Pondering for only a moment, you finally pull out a what you think is a pretty shirt from your, to be very honest, lacking wardrobe.
“Mama usually lets me pick what I want, but I pick one thing and ask if I can spend the rest on sweets instead.”
(She usually chides you, but eventually does give in after a puppy-eyed look or 2. You don’t need new clothes, you’ll just wear Mama’s when you’re older!)
“Oh, and Suguru’s mama likes to give us stuff.”
“Thank you, Akari-san. Your baking really is amazing—“
“Oh, lose the honorifics! We’re bosom friends at this point. And look at this! This darling shirt just reminded me of your cute (name) so much that I couldn’t help myself and just went ahead to buy it, aha!”
“And Satoru too.”
“Greetings, (name)-sama. The Young Master would like to formally thank you for the relations—“
“I made Kimi-chan buy it after she said it reminded her of you!” And he himself unravels the article of clothing before you, showing you the Digimon themed print full of cute Marching Fishes.
“It’s even Digimon themed so ya haveta stop watching Pokemon and watch the better show with me!”
“That’s where I think I get most of my clothes from.”
And the girl says nothing, staring down at the shirt you had given her as you gather up the fabric of her dress into your smaller arms and huffing triumphantly.
“I’ll be back soon! I’ll ask my Mama to help wash this!”
“Okay.” Truth be told, she wasn’t really listening to you anymore. Too preoccupied with the way your scent was heavy on the article of clothing, too busy taking whiffs of the air—
It smelt really nice.
“Mama.” You show her Shoko’s dress, prim and proper and sequined with a gentle shimmer to ensure maximum elegance. Very expensive, you’re pretty sure. “Can we wash this out?”
She blinks. Once, twice and a few more times. Even picks up the article of clothing and puts it close to her face, squinting at the very obvious patch of cursed spirit blood that was very evidently there— Especially against the pure white of Shoko’s dress.
“Honey…” She has to adjusts her eyeglasses, even swipe a finger at the fabric and observe her skin to really check for the damage done.
“There’s nothing there.”
——
You’re being stared at— No, scrutinized by blue that was all too judgmental of you.
“Did ya go crazy?” His hands feel hot, feel like they were going to melt into your skin and fuse your flesh together with his as he glares at you—
Angrily.
“We didn’t tell ya to involve yourself did we?” He’s huffing, upset and very much squeezing your hands tight as you let him hold them, letting him glare at the patch of skin Shoko had expended so much energy trying to heal.
(It’s definitely not perfect, but who can complain about her magic healing powers? It was so cool.)
“No, but I wanted to find out and Shoko wanted to help, so—“
“Shoko’s dumb.”
“She isn’t—“
“And you’re weak.” Gojo’s eyes never stop staring even as he rudely interrupts you once again, his face closing in on yours as he invades the little personal space you had left until you swear his eyeballs were gonna pop out of his head and touch your own.
“You never had anything in ya.” His eyes shine once more, before he inevitably blinks and lets out a grunt. A hand releases yours, going up to press against his face as his shoulders stiffen and his whole body shook.
As if he was in pain.
“A-And you still don’t!“ He wheezes slightly. “No cursed technique, no innate forms—” You can see the very clear grimace on his face as his eyes squeeze close and his face twisting into one of clear discomfort as he stamps a foot and shakes his head. “What even m-makes ya think I would go ahead and tell ya anything?!”
You know he’s not being mean— Not by your standards, anyway.
“Satoru… Are you okay?”
“I’m fine, you—“ He pauses when he squints at you through an offended gaze, the light in his eyes peeking through the gaps in his fingers whilst going silent for just a beat of a moment.
“My eyes hurt… Cause of my cursed technique, a-and stuff!”
“Then I-I can go call Kimiko-san to—!“
You don’t even get a reply, not even spared an explanation; just his hand making a grab for yours and pulling you back down beside him.
You meet puffed up cheeks and an angry pout, a sullen look and red splayed across his face and the tips of his ears infuriated and very telling of his annoyance whilst those crystals he had for eyes did their best to fight back tears.
Oh.
And when his head plops down onto your lap, it was almost as if it was a subconscious action turned into an all too repeated habit. Your hand brushing against white locks, trailing through strands of white as you gently scratch at his scalp.
“Hmph.”
“A-Are you sure you’ll feel better like this? I thought headaches and serious illnesses and poison and stuff like that needed a doctor…” Not that you know any doctors for cursed energy, or ‘techniques’ as he called them, but you’re sure Kimiko-san would.
“Hmph!”
Ack. He’s still too angry at you to want to explain anything, but not enough for him to stop your hand from stroking his head and making your lap his replacement pillow.
“I’m sorry, Satoru.” You really are. It’s not like you wanted to get hurt on purpose… But technically you did unearth the secret he and Suguru were keeping from you. “I didn’t mean to worry you or Suguru…”
(Not that Suguru knows of this situation yet, anyway.)
“I just—“ You take in a breath to steady your heart that was somehow racing, stop your administrations on his head as you try to find your words. “I guess— The reason I followed Shoko after she offered to tell me, I realized I just didn’t want to be left out…”
And it drawls into silence. It’s heavy and makes you reflect on your actions, forces you to be alone with the words that you didn’t realize reflected your truth. Maybe, you’re not as okay and go with the flow as your zodiac sign said you would be today.
Maybe you just didn’t want to be left alone and unknowing. You know you don’t know a lot— But at the same time, if you learned too, can’t you fit in with them all the better?
“…cursed techniques are something people are born with. And they usually show up ‘round the age of like 4.” He uncrosses his arms and stares up at you through his short bangs. “People born with ‘em get really good at using them as they get older, since it’s ingrained into them over and over that they eventually ‘get’ how to use it.”
“But you—“ He sighs when you scratch against a spot behind his ear as he twitches slightly. “You have a lot of cursed energy and stuff, but ya don’t have a cursed technique; at least not one I can see with my eyes yet. And I’m betting it’s cause y’er super weak.”
“Your… Eyes?”
“Yea, you noticed how much prettier my eyes are compared to like— Everyone else around, right?” There’s a pompous harrumph in his tone and a really proud, really smug grin on his face. “That’s cause I was born special and super, super strong.”
(“But you get a lot of cavities often, though…”
And he’s immediately jumping up and off of your lap, embarrassed face and telling shame on the red tips of his ears as he rebuts you.
“It’s just because I’m too strong that e-everything is out to get me—! Shoko told ya it’s cause cursed spirits were made of negative emotions and stuff, right?! That’s that!”)

Chosen 2022 - Rework
[Story Collection] | [●]
Tumblr media
Daniel had always considered himself a regular guy despite what others might say. Sure, he was tall—really tall at 6’5”—but he never thought much of it. Few people were taller than him, but he didn’t pay much attention to this fact. Daniel was also in pretty good shape, weighing a solid 260 pounds, most of it muscle. His friends often called him “stud,” which he found flattering, though, in his mind, he was still just a regular guy.
At 24 years old, he was finally starting to embrace adulthood. He’d graduated from college a few months earlier, landed a great job close to his hometown, and finally felt like things were falling into place. Daniel lived alone in a small apartment, but he didn’t mind. He couldn’t afford anything bigger, and he didn’t need it. It was just him. He rarely had visitors—he didn’t go on dates, and most of his friends had moved a few states away after college. His life might have seemed a bit lonely to some, but he was happy. There was something peaceful about his routine.
On this particular Saturday, October 1st, Daniel made the three-hour drive back to his parents’ house, something he did every few weekends since he lived so close to them. Unlike most guys his age who couldn’t wait to move away from their parents, Daniel enjoyed visiting. However, he arrived unannounced this time and found the house empty. After a quick call to his dad, his parents told him they were spending the weekend at a cabin in the mountains. His father suggested that Daniel stay the night and wait for them to return on Sunday evening. After a moment’s thought, Daniel agreed. It wasn’t like he had any other plan.
But after a while of being alone in the quiet house, boredom hit him, so Daniel decided to head to the local gym for a workout. Maybe he’d run into someone interesting—a good-looking guy or a hot woman to hang out with. Daniel was bisexual, though he kept that to himself. His parents still thought he was “the straightest straight.”
The gym was almost empty when Daniel arrived. A few guys were working out, but none caught his eye. He easily outweighed the biggest by at least 60 pounds, which didn’t help make things more exciting. Still, he set to work on his routine, moving through the machines, pushing his body harder and harder. The more he worked out, the more he noticed the stares from the other guys. They were whispering, pointing, and staring at him in awe.
Daniel upped the intensity with a smirk, adding more weight and reps to the routine. By the time he finished, he had the best pump he’d ever felt. His muscles looked incredible, practically bulging out of his tank top, and he couldn’t help but admire himself in the mirror as his massive dick stirred in his shorts in response. His grin grew more cocky, feeling his thick, foot-long dick painfully hard in his shorts. He was above average in that area, and despite his usual humbleness, he loved to show it off. He couldn’t help but notice the appreciative looks of the others. They weren’t even pretending to work out anymore; they were watching him, eyes filled with lust.
As much as Daniel enjoyed the attention, he knew it was time to wrap up. After a long shower, he gathered his things and started to head out. His thoughts were elsewhere as he exited the gym, so much so that he didn’t notice the man walking toward him on the sidewalk until it was too late. They collided, sending the man’s phone and bags to the ground.
“Oh, I’m really sorry!” Daniel blurted out, immediately crouching down to help.
The man standing before him was about three inches shorter and looked 3 or 4 years older. He had a strong-looking build, with broad shoulders and thick arms. But what caught Daniel’s attention was his belly. It was enormous, round, and firm, almost cartoonishly large. Daniel had never seen a belly this big.
“No, no. It’s my fault. I wasn’t paying attention,” the man replied, awkwardly trying to pull his shirt down over the lower part of his abdomen. As he did, Daniel noticed that the man’s chest was also fat and large, and his hips and butt were thick. The poor guy looked like he hadn’t seen the inside of a gym in years. Still, despite his size, there was something undeniably handsome about him.
As the man struggled to gather his belongings, Daniel instinctively bent down to help. He picked up the phone and, in doing so, his hand accidentally brushed against the man’s belly. To his surprise, he felt the belly shift slightly, as though it had a life of its own. Daniel quickly recoiled, his heart racing.
“Are you alright?” the man asked, grabbing Daniel’s hand in concern.
The moment their skin touched, Daniel felt a jolt of electricity shoot through him, so powerful that it knocked him backward. He landed on the pavement with a thud, blinking in shock. Before Daniel could even fully process what had happened, the man clutched his belly and let out a low groan. His face contorted in discomfort, and he began waddling away, muttering to himself.
“No, no. Not him! Not now,” the man kept saying.
Daniel scrambled to his feet, watching in confusion as the man continued to waddle away, clutching his abdomen as though it were causing him pain. “Hey, are you alright? Do you need a doctor?” Daniel called after him, but the man didn’t stop. He kept moving, his massive body swaying as he hurried down the sidewalk.
Daniel couldn’t help but stare at the man’s massive ass as he retreated, his mind racing with questions. He wanted to follow, to get answers, but something held him back. He stood frozen in place, watching as the man climbed into a car and drove away without a word, leaving Daniel standing alone, more confused than ever.
**
Later that day, Daniel was in his parents’ house, still processing the strange encounter. No matter how hard he tried to focus on the TV in front of him, the tingling in his hand refused to go away, as if it remembered the brief contact with the man’s belly. Daniel stretched out on the couch, hoping that maybe time and a bit of distraction would help him shake the uneasy feeling. But as he was starting to relax, the doorbell rang.
The sudden sound startled him, and he hesitated for a moment. He was only wearing a pair of boxer briefs, and whoever was outside seemed impatient, the ringing growing more persistent. Not wanting to be rude, Daniel finally stood up, hoping it wasn’t one of his mother’s friends—it wouldn’t be ideal for them to find him nearly naked.
He opened the door cautiously, peeking out, but it wasn’t a familiar neighbor or a family friend. Standing there was the same man he’d bumped into earlier, though he looked far worse this time. His face was slick with sweat, his breath labored, and he was clutching his swollen belly with both hands in discomfort.
“I’m so sorry to bother you, but I really need your help,” the man gasped. “My car broke down, and I just need a place to sit. Please.”
Daniel blinked, taken aback. The man looked even more exhausted than earlier, and his face expressed desperation. Daniel wasn’t sure if the man recognized him from their previous encounter. But the man looked at him so firmly that it made Daniel feel like he knew this visit was inevitable.
After a beat of hesitation, Daniel nodded, stepping aside to let the man in. “Come on in, take a seat,” Daniel said, guiding him toward the couch. “You sure you don’t want me to call for an ambulance or something? You look like you’re in a lot of pain.”
The man softly groaned as he settled onto the couch, his large body sinking into the cushions. “No! Doctors can help me,” he said, his voice strained. “This condition is rare. An ambulance won’t do me any good.”
Daniel couldn’t help but feel concerned as he watched the struggle. Sweat dripped down the man’s face, and his breathing came in shallow gasps. For a moment, Daniel worried that the man might be seriously ill. “Are you sure you’re okay?” Daniel asked, still feeling uneasy. “I don’t want you to—well, you know—pass out or something.”
The man offered a weak smile, though his expression remained strained. “I know this is weird,” he admitted, “but I’m glad you’re a nice guy. My name’s Rupert, by the way. I live a few towns away, but I was in the area and—ugh,” he winced, rubbing his belly again, “needed to pick up a few things.”
Daniel nodded, still uncertain but doing his best to remain polite. “I’m Daniel,” he said. “This is my parents’ house. I’m just visiting for the weekend.”
“Ah,” Rupert said, his voice soft but strained, “that explains it. I hadn’t seen you around before.” He seemed to study Daniel, his eyes lingering on him, before speaking again. “I don’t want to bother, but I just need a few hours to rest. I can pay you if you want. Just name it, and I’ll give you whatever you want,” he said, making Daniel shiver at the offer.
Daniel shook his head quickly, feeling a little guilty at the offer. “No, no, it’s fine. You don’t have to pay me for anything. If you need a place to rest, I’m happy to help. My parents always taught me to lend a hand when someone needs it.”
Rupert’s tired expression softened, and he offered Daniel a grateful smile. “Thank you, Daniel,” he murmured. He adjusted himself on the couch, trying to find a comfortable position. His large frame made it difficult, though, and his shirt had slightly ridden up over the curve of his belly. “I don’t suppose you could help me out of these tight clothes, could you? You seem really comfortable with that hot body of yours on full display.”
Daniel blushed at the compliment and briefly hesitated, his pulse quickening. Rupert was clearly uncomfortable, and his clothes did seem to be straining against his bulk, but the request caught him off guard. Still, Daniel nodded, moving closer to help, longing to see the man fully naked. “Yeah, sure,” he said, his voice slightly shaky. “Let me give you a hand.”
As Daniel carefully helped Rupert remove his sweat-drenched shirt, he marveled at how solid the man’s chest and stomach were. Rupert’s pecs were firm, his nipples thick, and his belly was taut, not at all like the soft fat Daniel had imagined earlier. Daniel carefully helped Rupert remove his sweatpants, revealing a thick lower body that made Daniel gasp. Rupert was wearing a jockstrap, which could barely contain the massive bulge he carried beneath his belly. His dick was huge, and his balls seemed bigger than anything Daniel had seen, a remarkable fact since his own assets were far larger than average.
“Thanks so much, big guy. I’m feeling a bit better,” Rupert said as he leaned back on the couch. “I appreciate this, Daniel,” he added, caressing his massive belly.
Daniel was speechless, his foot-long, hard dick straining the fabric of his boxer briefs. He tried to push the horny thoughts aside and focus on helping Rupert get comfortable. But the man’s almost naked, round body and massive bulge had Daniel hypnotized. He could even feel his ass squirming in need as his eyes observed Rupert’s huge bulge, longing to feel that monster cock stretching his inside to the limit. Daniel had never seen himself as a bottom, but Rupert was so hot, and his dick was so big that Daniel couldn’t resist the urge to caress his own dick through his boxer briefs with desire.
“Do you like what you see, Daniel?” Rupert whispered, his voice purposely sensual. “I’ve always heard that tall people have big dicks, and it seems like the rumors are true,” he said, slowly reaching for Daniel’s crotch to rub the huge fuck tool, making him gasp.
“Yours looks even bigger,” Daniel said, enjoying Rupert’s touch. Then he noticed Rupert’s bulge also throbbing and growing as his dick hardened.
“I bet that massive dick is painfully uncomfortable inside these boxers. You may take them off. I’d be glad if I could take my jockstrap off because you’re making me so hard, Daniel,” Rupert said in a hypnotic tone that made Daniel immediately obey, removing his boxers and helping Rupert remove his jockstrap.
Rupert stroked Daniel’s foot-long dick while his own rose to about 16 inches long and thicker than a soda can. Rupert’s balls were bigger than grapefruits, and Daniel could barely contain his excitement as he observed the magnificent assets.
“I knew you would like this,” Rupert said, still stroking Daniel’s dick with one hand while rubbing his belly with the other. “When I said I could pay you for your help, I really meant it. So, if you want to take a ride, I’m all yours, Daniel.” Rupert winked at Daniel and stroked his dick hard, and the young man could only respond with a firm nod.
“Yes, please. I-I need it,” Daniel said, drooling at the sight of Rupert’s massive hard dick.
Rupert grinned, releasing Daniel’s dick from his grip to use his hands to sit up as best as he could. “So, do you have a bed where we can be more comfortable?” he asked, looking down at his belly. “A big man like me can’t do much with this on the way.”
“Sure!” Daniel replied excitedly. “But it’s upstairs. Do you think you can get there?” He asked, blushing as he gestured to Rupert’s belly and pecs.
Rupert laughs and pats his belly. “I’ll manage. And you’re a strong boy, so if I need any help, I’m sure you’ll handle it. Just help me get up, and I’ll waddle up the stairs.”
Daniel followed Rupert’s instructions and led him upstairs. Rupert was panting as they entered Daniel’s room, so he groaned and took a few seconds to catch his breath as Daniel helped him sit on the bed. Once Rupert’s breathing had steadied, he grabbed Daniel’s dick and pulled him into a long and passionate kiss. His belly pressed tightly against Daniel’s abs, who could feel some movements within, confusing him. But the horniness was stronger than any rational thought.
Daniel got his hands on Rupert’s belly and rubbed large circles over the taut surface, making the man groan. His hands then moved to knead Rupert’s pecs, marveling at how firm and plump they felt. Finally, Daniel reached for Rupert’s hips to squeeze them, making the man moan in pleasure. Rupert’s hands also moved all over Daniel’s muscular torso, turning him on like never before. Daniel was desperate to feel Rupert’s dick buried in his ass; his mind could barely focus on anything but the big man before him.
“I hope you’re ready because you’ll never be the same after this,” Rupert whispered between kisses, caressing Daniel’s pecs.
“I know. Your dick will stretch me so much that no one else will ever satisfy me,” Daniel said, chuckling at how odd the sentence sounded. “Also, you’ll be my first ever.”
“I know. I knew from the beginning that I’d be your first,” Rupert chuckled as they continued making out. “But I didn’t mean it like that. You’ll find out eventually.”
“You’re so hot. I’m glad you’ll be my first,” Daniel said, teasing Rupert’s nipples and making him moan. “I need you to fuck me, but I don’t have any lube. I don’t think your massive dick will fit. I’ve never, you know.”
Rupert grinned, a devilish and playful look in his eyes. “I have a way. Don’t worry, and let me do my magic,” he said and shifted in bed. “Get on all fours, pretty boy. Your world is about to get upside down. Men and women loved this part even before I got this big,” he said, and even though Daniel was nervous, he obeyed.
“Please, be gentle,” Daniel asked, his body shivering as he felt Rupert positioning himself behind him.
Rupert rested his massive belly on Daniel’s back and poked at his virgin hole with the apple-sized head of his dick. “Don’t worry, you’ll be fine,” he said, pushing forward to penetrate Daniel.
Daniel moaned when he felt Rupert’s dick touching his ass, desperate to feel it inside. “It won’t fit.”
“It will. You have been chosen for this,” Rupert said and pushed harder, his dick entering Daniel’s hole and making him moan loudly.
Daniel was in pain as Rupert’s dick stretched his hole beyond its limit, but he couldn’t help but long for more. “Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! More! More! Please!” he begged.
Daniel felt the weight of Rupert’s belly on his back while the man continued pushing inch after inch of thick fuck tool into his needy hole. Daniel’s mind was blurry due to pleasure, but he could feel something moving inside Rupert’s belly. He wondered if it was indigestion or gas problems, which could be the condition Rupert had mentioned. The idea was pretty unappealing but also unlikely since Rupert was too big and heavy to carry only gas in his round abdomen. Even though Daniel was confused, his mind blanked as he felt Rupert going balls deep into him.
“You see? You have 16 inches of dick inside you, and you aren’t dead,” Rupert said. Daniel couldn’t process the words, overwhelmed by the sensation as his body adjusted to the massive intruder. “Are you ready?” he asked, and Daniel could barely come up with an answer.
“Yes,” Daniel whispered, too horny to say anything else.
Rupert’s hips immediately started thrusting, but due to his heavy body, only 4 to 5 inches of his dick slid in and out of Daniel’s hole. Even then, this was more than enough to make Daniel moan louder. His eyes rolled in his head, and his mouth was open, unable to do anything but moan.
“I know how it feels, pretty boy,” Rupert said between groans as he thrust hard into Daniel. “I was in your position about a year ago. I know how intoxicating this is,” he said, but Daniel couldn’t register his words.
Daniel could only think of the massive dick, the balls, the heavy belly, and the plump pecs. He could only enjoy the sensation of Rupert’s dick stretching his hole beyond his wildest dreams. Daniel was so desperate for Rupert’s dick that when the man’s thrust slowed down due to exhaustion, he pushed his hips backward to intensify the sensation. Their movements seemed synchronized, the thrusts getting harder, and the sex sounds grew louder. It felt so good that Daniel wanted this to last forever.
“More! Please! Fuck me harder, fatty!” Daniel mindlessly said, desperate for more.
“Hmm. Soon you’ll see who’s a fatty,” Rupert said, and his thrust regained force and speed, fucking Daniel so hard that the young man almost passed out. Still, he wanted more of the biggest dick on the planet. “Pretty boy, I don’t think I’ll be able to pull out fast enough. I’m so close. Your ass is so good,” Rupert cried out as he felt pre-cum already leaking from his dick into Daniel’s guts.
“Go ahead. Nobody will know if you cum in me,” Daniel responded, already feeling the pre-cum filling his guts as Rupert’s thrust became erratic.
Rupert cried out, and a massive wave of cum exploded from his dick, the stream entering Daniel’s guts with such force that his abdomen started rounding out. “Oh, fuck! It’s so good. Your ass is so good, pretty boy.”
“So much! So much cum. You’re making me blow up,” Daniel said, moving his hand to feel his abdomen getting rounder and feeling his own dick shoot a massive load over the mattress as Rupert thrust a few more times into him. “You made me make a mess,” he playfully added, addressing his round belly and his own cum on his sheets.
“That’s nothing to worry about,” Rupert said, finally stopping cumming as they stayed still, catching their breaths and enjoying the afterglow of the best sex they had experienced.
Rupert pulled his dick out a few minutes later, immediately collapsing onto the mattress, clearly exhausted. Sweat covered his torso, and a white liquid dripped from his pecs. Daniel didn’t ask about that and only lay beside Rupert while he rubbed his belly.
“This was so good, Daniel,” Rupert said, his voice barely a whisper. “We should get some rest. But first, do you mind if I use your bathroom? Maybe take a bath?”
Daniel yawned, feeling suddenly sleepy. “Sure. There’s a large tub in there. All yours,” he said, pointing at his bathroom door. “I’ll be here, waiting for you.”
“Thanks, Daniel. You’re the sweetest,” Rupert said, leaning to the side to kiss Daniel’s belly. “One last thing. Could you help me stand up? It’s a challenge with this huge, heavy belly on the way,” he said, playfully patting his belly.
Daniel smiled and quickly helped him up. “No problem. I’ll do anything you ask me for,” he said, and Rupert smiled.
Rupert pulled Daniel into a long and passionate kiss that made Daniel’s dick stir to life again. “Thanks, Daniel. I really owe you one. Maybe one day I’ll get to pay for what you’ve done,” he said, breaking the kiss. “Now, try to get some rest. This will take a while,” he added, chuckling while waddling toward the bathroom.
Daniel couldn’t help but marvel at Rupert’s size as he watched him move toward the bathroom. The man was so big that each step seemed strangely captivating. The way his belly swayed hypnotized Daniel and made his heart beat faster. He had never felt attracted to fat men, but something about Rupert ignited an unexpected desire in him. He wasn’t even sure if Rupert was actually fat because, except for his ass, his body was firm and his skin taut. A strange combination that Daniel found hot.
Daniel lay back on his bed, exhaustion washing over him. After all that had happened, his own body felt heavy—his ass was sore, and his stomach was distended as if he were five months pregnant. He chuckled at his absurd thoughts and rubbed his midsection absentmindedly, smiling as he thought about the hottie taking a bath in his bathroom.
“Maybe he’ll let me have a go on his ass later,” Daniel mused softly to himself, the playful thought leading him to a slumber. As he drifted off, a loud splash echoed from the bathroom, followed by Rupert’s groan. The sound barely registered in Daniel’s sleep-addled mind as he slipped further into dreams.
“Oh, fuck! Here comes the first,” were the last words Daniel heard from Rupert in the bathroom before he fell deeply asleep.
**
Daniel awoke hours later, darkness enveloping the room. Disoriented, he blinked, and the memories of the day’s events came rushing back. A smile spread across his face at the thought of Rupert, but as he glanced around, a wave of confusion washed over him. The room was empty. He slowly stood up, feeling the soreness in his hole, and went to turn on the lights and check if he was in the bathroom. However, it was also empty.
“He left?” he whispered, feeling an inexplicable sense of betrayal. “Or did I just dream it?” He shook his head, rubbing his bloated abdomen. The sensation reminded him that it was all too real. Daniel felt like a sexual toy, but at least he had enjoyed the experience.
Returning to bed, he lay on his back and glanced at his nightstand, where a sheet of paper caught his eye. He reached for it and began to read.
“Dear Daniel,
I’m really sorry, but this isn’t my choice. You were chosen, and there’s no other way for things to happen. When we met earlier today, I know you felt something. I also felt it. The same thing happened to me a whole year ago.
You seem like a really nice guy, and you don’t deserve all the trouble this will cause, but it’s out of my control. Let me explain: I was cursed, and now you are. This curse has been passed from one man to the next for centuries, and now it’s on you.
When we met, I was pregnant. It sounds impossible, but I had been pregnant for almost a year. The guy who passed this curse to me also left a note, so I know just the basics:
You’re definitely pregnant now. As soon as you wake up, the babies will start growing, and within minutes, they’ll reach full size. You’ll get huge soon. The word “October” comes from a Latin root that means “eight,” so those who are cursed get pregnant with octuplets. That’s why I went to your bathroom—I had just given birth to octuplets. Don’t worry, I cleaned everything.
The thing is, now you’re pregnant with octuplets, and you won’t be able to give birth until you find the next chosen guy and impregnate him. That’s why I said there’s no other way. I had to get you pregnant to be able to give birth myself. You have to find the next one before Halloween, or you’ll have to wait until next October for another opportunity.
That’s why I spent a whole year with such a massive belly. I couldn’t find you last year, but I really hope you find the right man in the next few days. The guy has to be a virgin, at least his ass, but you don’t need to ask—you’ll feel it when you find the right one. If you don’t believe me, your belly must be starting to grow by now, and it will be at least as big as mine in just a few minutes. After that, you’ll have until Halloween to find the guy and give birth, or you’ll be pregnant until next October.
PN: The curse has a side effect. Your dick and balls will grow to about twice their size, so you’ll be quite a sight. I hope we’ll see each other again someday. Goodbye, Daniel.
Rupert”
Daniel felt a knot form in his stomach as he processed the note. It had to be a joke—some cruel prank. But when he looked down at his bloated abdomen, he felt a rush of horror as his belly began to swell. “No, no, no. This can’t be real!” he exclaimed, panicking. The expansion was rapid and unstoppable. He could feel his dick and balls growing, but soon, his belly obscured them from view. The sensation was overwhelming as his belly reached the size of a basketball and continued growing. He moved his hands to caress his abdomen as he felt something moving inside. He suddenly realized this was what happened with Rupert’s belly throughout their encounter.
His pecs started to swell, firm and full, and to Daniel’s shock, he felt a wetness seeping from his nipples. “No, no, stop,” he pleaded as his chest expanded and milk poured out in steady streams. The pressure in his body reached unbreakable levels. He was caught in the overwhelming sensation of all the changes happening, powerless as the curse took full effect. “Please, stop! Stop!” Daniel whispered again, almost crying. But he knew, deep down, that it wouldn’t stop. It wouldn’t stop until he found the next chosen one.

CHAPTER ONE | THE PARTY & THE AFTER PARTY
Warnings; Uhhhh idk?
A/N: I never had to actually make coffee at my job, I kinda jus put the filter then dump out the coffee bag so… my apologies if it sounds crazy. (For all my professional coffee makers.)
Jenna Ortega x G!P Reader
Tumblr media
series masterlist | main masterlist | previous chapter | next chapter
"I have a medium lavender ice latte with oat milk for, Ana?" You call out to half full coffee shop. A blonde in about her twenties walks up to the counter, you smile before handing her her drink.
"Have a wonderful day," She grins, "Thank you so much, you too!" Your co-worker speaks up from behind you, "I still don't understand why you're not somewhere strumming your guitar."
You've been working at Hughes Coffee since you can remember, you just happened to be walking by the place and noticed the Now Hiring signs on the door, of course, you had to go through an interview process but you landed the job and became close with the owner and his daughter.
Once she had officially turned eighteen he changed the shop name in honour of her, and she absolutely loved it.
You playfully roll your eyes before turning around to fully face her, "Alora," You begin causing her to hum in response. "I literally have to stay here to keep you in check. Ever since Mr. Hughes changed the name to Alora's Coffee you've been acting a little bit stuck up." You joke, illustrating how much with your thumb and pointer finger.
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever," She points behind you, "Take care of that customer. I have to use the bathroom," You jump up in the straightest position ever, saluting to her. "Yes! General!"
She laughs, walking to the back. Turning around you're met with a familiar face, "Jack."
He smiles raising his arms, "Bestie!" You chuckle, smiling at your indeed best friend. "Hey, Jack. What's up?"
He smiles, shrugging his shoulders. "Oh, nothing. Just checking in on you—" Suddenly he slams his hands on the counter, you jump and eye the shop as some customers as staring at the two of you.
"YOU REALLY THOUGHT YOU WOULD GET AWAY WITH LEAVING WITHOUT SAYING GOODBYE?" He practically yells, leaning into your face. You bite down on your lip, furrowing your eyebrows as you try and hold in your laugh.
"Uh? I thought I gave my goodbyes to my best messenger, did you not receive it?" Jack leans back, hands still on the counter. "Oh! You mean Jenna?" You nod your head, waving your pointer finger at him. "Yes, yes! Jenna, yup."
"And the same Jenna that couldn't stop talking about you." Your ears perk up at this, and your heart drops, but in a good way.
"Really?" You question, trying to sound as nonchalant as possible.
"Oh, yeah!" He continues. "She was like, she has the cutest laugh ever. She's so funny where'd you meet her at? Y/N this, Y/N that! Oh, Y/N! Blah, bleh, blah." He mocks with a high-pitched voice.
"Really?" This time you can't hide it, and you're smiling like an absolute idiot. "Really. I was going to give her your Instagram but you know, you left early. So insteadddd," He drags out, and you listen in.
"I told her that you're already dating someone, but don't worry! I didn't be specific and tell her that it was me." You blink, and when Jack doesn't say anything else, you blink again.
"You're lying, right?"
He thins out his lips, shaking his head. "No, why?" You go back to being nonchalant, not wanting Jack to have this over you.
One time you had liked this girl freshman year and Jack would not stop talking about it. And every time he'd see her he'd tell her why won't she go out with you, or how she should give you her number. The girl would always laugh and shrug her shoulders.
Or Jack would come up with these fake stories about how you saved an entire family from a burning building, or how you had found the cure to cancer, the girl surprisingly played along, and would say stuff along the lines of, "Oh, I remember that." Or, "Oh yeah! I was there too."
"No reason," You say shrugging your shoulders, Jack nods staring at you a bit longer to see if he broke your shell of nonchalantness, if that was a thing.
Accepting defeat, but not fully he sighs out. "Welp, I have to go now. I promised Mason I'd stop by his place to try out his new sugar cookie recipe."
You send him a thumbs up, "Alright! Have fun!" You shout out, as he walks out the double glass doors.
You turned around grabbed a rag, and wiped down counters. It was rather late in the morning so it wasn't so busy, well, it wasn't as busy as it was earlier this morning, you were dead-ass sweating.
It comes back to you that Alora never came back out, so you decide to head to the back and go inside the employee break room. You're met with Alora laying across two chairs eating a bag of chips.
"Is this what you do every time you say you're going to the bathroom?" She jumps in surprise, sitting up she removes her left airpod. "Hello, friend." She grins cheekily. You send her a wave.
"Don't you think you should go back to the front?" She starts shooing you off with her hand, you back up, but remain looking at her.  "What about you?" She shushes, continuing her shooing motions."
You sigh out, leaning against the counter as you watch the customers in the store talk to their friends or type away on their computers.
You're so into the view you didn't hear the door open nor see the customer walk up towards the counter. Until you hear a ding noise come from the bell sitting on top of the counter.
"Shit," You mutter to yourself, you reach behind you, tying your apron tighter before walking over to the woman. "Fucking Jack," You slightly hear from her and it finally hits you once she takes off her glasses.
"That fucking sneaky bastard." You mumble to yourself.
"Hey, Jenna." You smile, Jenna smiles back placing her glasses in her purse. "Hey," She looks into your eyes, hating to admit she missed them, and so suddenly.
"Now I see why Jack told me to come here." You scratch your head, nodding. "He is a sneaky little bastard." She laughs at your words, "He actually called you the same thing when you left without saying goodbye, well technically you did, but.. I don't know." She catches herself rambling, making you smile.
"Did you want anything to drink?" You ask, drumming your fingers on the countertop. "It's on the house."
"Oh! Sure," Her eyes scan the menu, then you, specifically your name tag. You don't miss the smirk that slightly appears on her lips.
"Surprise me." Just as you're about to respond, Alora walks back out. "Good morning, how are you today?"
Jenna sends her a slight smile, "I'm great, thank you." She gives you one last look before going to sit down. Once it's clear that Jenna is no longer focused on you, Alora grabs your arm, her jaw-dropping. "Was that fucking Wednesday Addams?" You roll your eyes, moving to make Jenna's coffee."
You prepare one shot of Espresso Roast, and as you wait you pull out your phone, opening your messages with Jack.
Tumblr media
i hate you
BESTIE
BESTIE DON'T SAY THAT?
i'm not the one who left w/o saying goodbye
I ASKED JENNA TO SAY GOODBYE?
whatever
don't you have to go like
impress her w your barista skills?
you're welcome by the way
Tumblr media
goodbye jack
OH NOW U WANNA
SAY GOODBYE
You laugh before putting away your phone. And pouring your Espresso Roast into the mug.
"Her name is Jenna. But yes, she has played Wednesday Addams." Alora watches you, and her smile increases. "You know... I'm very happy that you work here."
You chuckle, preparing your froth milk. Using the Nespresso Aeroccino, you put the milk on the medium froth setting. And add in a bit of vanilla syrup, stirring it in the coffee. "You're only saying that because every now and then Jack will recommend your shop to one of his famous friends,"
She throws her hands up excitedly, "One of his very attractive famous friends!" You lean against the counter waiting for your milk. "Could you watch the counter while I talk to her?" Your voice is lower than usual.
"I fucking got you!" You can't help but laugh, taking your milk and gently pouring it inside the cup until it's almost full. Alora packages up a cookie before softly handing it to you.
"Go get her tiger," Rolling your eye playfully, you make your way toward Jenna, cookie and drink in hand. She sets down her phone and her face lights up seeing you make your way over to her booth.
"A blonde vanilla latte and a chocolate chip cookie for the one and only," You place her order in front of her, sitting down across the table.
She eyes you as she takes a sip, humming in joy. "Wow, this is good." She licks her lips, placing down the cup.
"So... Y/N," She begins. You fight back a smile, looking down at your name tag. "How long have you been addicted to cigarettes."
If you had something in your mouth you definitely would've spit it out. But instead, you're taken aback, "Uh? I don't know? A while,"
She hums, taking another sip of the drink you made her. "Not a lot of people know it but, I actually specialize in helping people with addictions."
You chuckle, "Really?"
"Of course, I'm a professional." You tap your fingers on the table. "So how do your services work exactly?"
"Usually I charge a hefty amount of money, but since we're such good friends. Money is not a problem, instead.." You raise your eyebrows in anticipation.
"Let's make a deal." You nod, telling her to go on. "You let me take you out on seven dates, if I don't manage to at least help you fight your addiction then you don't have to worry about seeing my face ever again. But if I do, then I get to take you out on more."
A huge smile has appeared on your face, "You're going to take me out? To help fight my addiction?" She nods, again sipping on her drink.
"Do we have a deal?" You hold out your hand, and she quickly shakes it.
"It's a deal Ortega," She smirks but doesn't hide it this time.

why does everybody hate mcu clint so much??? i’ve read his comics but i still love jeremy renner’s portrayal of him and stuff :(
like i can understand being disappointed in some ways about how the character was changed for the movies, but i can’t understood all the hate for him
for me, personally, it's not that mcu clint is a bad character per se, it's really just the fact that he doesn't feel like clint barton. give him any other name and he's a fine character, but compare him to comic clint and they're in NO WAY the same person.
on one hand you have that responsible, serious husband and well adjusted father of three, who cracks a joke here and there but takes everything pretty serious most of the time, who has his life under control, while everyone else on the team is a mess. he doesn't have that much of a personality, no weird habits or (dis)likes, he really fades in comparison to other team members like tony, who's lines are always on point and who gets a back story and everything.
on the other hand there's this 6'3" disaster of a human being, who lives for coffee, dogs, tv shows and nothing else, is obsessed with purple for no reason at all, grew up in a circus after he escaped his abusive dad, can't take anything seriously and cracks the funniest joke all the fucking time, even makes fun of captain america on a regular basis (at least in the early avengers comics), runs away from himself and responsibility, fucks up nearly all of his relationships because he really sucks at emotions, but then forms those really precious bonds with people like kate, and who's just kind of an asshole really, but simultaneously a fucking ray of sunshine. plus he's deaf and we always love some representation. oh, and mcu clint is like the straightest guy ever, and then there's comic clint who is just so easy to headcanon as this bisexual disaster, and we all know how much fandom loves a queer coded character.
so, the mcu basically took away every fun part of the awesome character that is clint barton and it SUCKS. i really don't hate movie clint as his own character, i just hate hate HATE the fact that he's supposed to be THE clint barton because he IS NOT, and he'll never be. i'm sorry, but jeremy renner just can't pull it off, i'll never understand how they saw bigger-than-steve, blond-mess, purple-loving, coffee-addict comic clint and where like: "oh yeah, let's cast 5' 9" jeremy renner and give his character a huge, healthy family, and no mental health problems, that's just perfect😍"
it's just so sad to be aware of the awesomeness of comic clint and then watch the movies because you're constantly thinking "oh what could've been..." if they did comic accurate movie clint, he'd definitely be a fan-favourite and we'd have tons of edits, and ships, and merchandise, but NO, most mcu fans just forget about him or don't find him special or entertaining (bc his mcu version really really isn't) and he gets left out of all the casual merchandise you can find in random shops (i literally have an album on my phone that's dedicated to photos i took of cheap avengers merchandise with the "o6" avengers sans clint lmao)
you're obviously allowed to love movie clint and jeremy's portrayal, that's great!!! i was an mcu fan way before i even knew just how different comic clint was, and i loved mcu clint so much back then! but after reading the comics and thousands of fanfiction, i'm just really really angry that there isn't a good live action on screen representation of my all time favourite fictional character, and i think many people feel the same :(
okay, i think i'm done lmao.
anyways, shout out to avengers assemble clint, my one true love <3 the mcu should take notes.

ZZZ sexuality headcanons
Because everyone else seems to do it.
~Phaethon Sibs~
Wise: Biromantic (slight preference for women) Pansexual, but like Theater Kid Bi/Pan. He IS LGBT+, but he's so dramatic about it the only people he ends up falling in love with are those with big dramatic reveals and backstories (Lycaon, Caesar, ETC.)
Belle: Demi on both accounts. She finds herself falling for girls more often but to be fair, an inordinate amount of the people she's around are Girls.
She has some Trans Vibes™ to me, but also just as likely to be cis.
~The Cunning Hares~
Nicole: Likes Women, and Certain men. Aromantic, but willing to be in a romantic relationship.
Anby: Sex positive Asexual, Panromantic. She only recently figured this out since she escaped her mysterious past.
Billy: Okay, him being a Robot, even a sapient one, makes the whole Sexuality/Romanticism thing weird to consider, but given the fact he has some kind of attraction to Monica that seems to be deeper than an emotional infatuation, so like. Straight? But also I reserve the right to change this in the Future.
Nekomata: Okay, as a bisexual it's hard not to make everyone like both men and woman as a form of projection, but also. Shooting her with the Bisexual Beam™.
~Belobog Heavy industries~
Koleda: Pansexual Demiromantic.
Grace & Anton: I am putting these two together because I cannot begin to fathom what is going on inside these People's heads. Should either of them have a sexual and/or romantic partner, they won't care what their partner is, in a way that is impossible to distinguish between Bi/Pan/Omni/Etc and Asexuality.
Simultaneously, I can also see them both being DEEPLY Homosexual, OR in the vein of "HRT Hit me like Freight Train" trans, but not both gay and trans.
Ben: Either the straightest man ever or the least flamboyant gay man in history, because on one hand he's a Bear (Heavyset Hairy Man) and a Bear (Furry) but also he's the accountant, which means he likely was in Business classes in college. I have never met a gay person good at math.
~Victoria Housekeeping~
Lycaon: I think he is like, pan/Omni/etc, but he's so deeply uncomfortable with being open to those he doesn't know he seems like he's demi.
Rina: Again, as a bisexual it's hard not to make everyone like both men and woman as a form of projection. But also, *Bisexuality Beam*
Corin: She really hasn't put much thought into it, but to seem 'normal' her kneejerk reaction to such a question is to claim that she's straight, even though she's still very much figuring herself out.
Sapphic, with unclear feelings towards men.
Ellen: (BisexualProjection.TXT) Sapphic, but Demi with guys, sort of like how Nicole is described.
~Criminal Investigation Special Response Team~
Zhu-Yuan: Comfortably Pan, terribly single.
Qingyi: Same thing with Billy where it's different because she doesn't have "Organic" Impulses, but also she's lesbian.
Jane Doe: She's so deep into the "Flirty Femme Fatale" Persona that she's forgotten what her actual preferences are. When is the flirting real, and when is it a ploy? If it was real would it actually be for this Guy/Girl?
She lands somewhere between Lycaon and Corin's deals in this way. I don't Think it's that clear to her, let alone to anyone else. She just needs to be allowed to be honest with others to be true to herself, and figure it out again.
Seth: Sex-Neutral Ace, Panromantic. He WILL Cuddle you after and he WILL Make you breakfast in the morning.
~Sons of Calydon~
Caesar: Bi, heavily leaning towards men because that's mostly what she can find in her romance stories.
Lucy: (BisexualProjection.TXT) As a revolution against her dad, she went HARD into being a lesbian, but the freedom and kindness provided by the Sons have let her really consider her options. She does like women a LOT, but sometimes ... she wouldn't mind a guy treating her like the princess she wants to be.
BUT TO BE CLEAR. She is a Disaster Lesbian for Caesar specifically. Caesar is basically the pinnacle of Sexual Attraction to which she bases all other potential partners against. She does not realize this and it is part of the reason she fights Caesar so much because of the Weird Feelings™ She gets.
Burnice: Literal Flaming Homosexual. The MOST Lesbian. If the bad word for gay (F**) didn't already have the hitorical context for it's existence, Burnice would be the origin of it.
Piper: Also a lesbian. She had a wife ten years ago, but they've divorced. This cannot be surprising to anyone.
Lighter: GAY GAY HOMOSEXUAL GAY-
~Misc.~
Soukaku: A Child. Do not bother.
Soldier 11: A Good Soldier's only love is for their country, and their only marriage is to the code by which they live!
The amount of Psycho-sexual issues this Woman will have if she ever uncovers her own personhood will be Deep and Troubling. and HOT.

SILENCED (2)
MASTERLIST
GENRE ➩ enhypen zombie apocalypse au!
SUMMARY ➩ navigating life 1 year post end of the world was already difficult as you avoided rotting corpses with hefty appetites and groups with various bad intentions. things get harder when you run into a group of survivors, 7 boys who make it impossible to run away.
WC ➩ 5k
WARNINGS ➩ everything the zombie apocalypse could bring lol, gore, mentions of death and injuries and lots of talk abt starvation and hunger this time around
AUTHORS NOTE ➩ this is a really short update but it was starting to bug me the longer it sat in my notes so i hope short is better than nothing. not proofread as always
Even small trips weren’t easy in the apocalypse. Runs to grocery stores could be the last thing you ever do and getting a few hours away could take weeks as you navigated rocky terrains and avoided uncrossable areas.
Transportation was something you’d taken for granted back then before the world had fallen apart.
You can remember tapping your foot impatiently against the subway station floor, arms crossed as you huffed and checked your watch for the umpteenth time. Maybe you were running late for school or you had just gotten off of work and wanted to get home fast so you could eat something.
Thinking about this now you felt utterly ridiculous, spoiled and sheltered from how good you truly had things.
But it wasn’t you alone who had these trivial problems and you considered that too as you walked with the group of boys, trailing behind a few feet but never left unattended considering they kept looking back to make sure you hadn’t disappeared into the woods at some point.
You wondered if you’d ever been somewhere at the same time as them. Seoul was big but it wasn’t spacious enough that this was totally an impossible thing to have happened. Maybe they’d been on the same train as you at some point, leaving school together and crowding around each other as they pulled playing cards.
It wasn’t a complete far fetched idea that you could have passed Jungwon on a crowded street when you went to get lunch or narrowly missed Heeseung as he rushed to an appointment he was late too.
You didn’t like to think about them like this, as people who all had lives and families before this all happened. You didn’t even like to think of yourself this way, chest tightening with the reminder of how much you’ve lost as this world changed.
It’d been days now since the camp had gotten overrun and you’d practically spent the last 72 hours straight doing nothing but walking. The straightest route to your destination hadn’t been safe enough to travel through, adding even more time onto the walk.
Most of it had been quiet, only hearing the boys speak in hushed whispers to each other every so often. It was hard to hold a conversation when you were all exhausted and hungry, running on autopilot and the fear filled adrenaline that built up every time the sun started to set.
Heeseung had been the quietest of everybody and he barely looked at the rest of you, his gaze sharp and focused as he continually scanned the surrounding areas. You thought back to your talk, the responsibility he held on his shoulders and you felt troubled for him now that such a major setback had occurred, now that their only home was gone.
He was closest to you as you lagged behind the group, keeping his eye on the boys ahead of him as the trudged along.
You were picking up your pace to catch up to him before you even confirmed within yourself it was a good idea, slowing back to a casual pace once you were side by side and reaching your hand out to gently tug on the sleeve of his long shirt. His eyes were shooting down to the point of contact and then back up at you with a frown.
“Hey.” You breathed out, trying to calm him down before you made your request. His eyes softened just slightly at the sound of your voice and he raised an eyebrow. “If we find somewhere safe to stop and rest for a few hours I can go try to get us something to eat.”
He watched you as you spoke and you knew he didn’t like your suggestion judging by the way his face hardened again, his jaw tensing as he scoffed and looked away from you. You figured he thought this was you finally putting your plan into action, leading them into the wilderness just to ditch them.
“I’m serious.” You had kept your hand on his sleeve still as you spoke and only now moved it, wrapping it fully around his arm so he could understand your earnest words. “They can’t go on like this much longer.”
He looked back over at you as you said that and you felt guilty at the sad expression on his face, knowing he had been thinking the same thing.
It must’ve been impossible for him to deal with the past few days, watching his family and the boys he was meant to lead barely make it through the day. The younger boys were stumbling as they walked, holding each others shoulders occasionally in an attempt to keep steady under their own crippling weight.
“Where’s safe?” He was genuinely asking but his voice broke around the word, already hoarse from not using it or having anything to drink. He sounded disbelieving that it was a possibility and he staggered slightly, knocking into your side.
Sunghoon had been lurking a few feet ahead and hearing this conversation he slowed a bit, letting you and Heeseung catch up as he leaned towards the two of you. “There’s a neighborhood or something up the ways a bit.” His tone was low so the other boys couldn’t pick it up.
You gave him a questioning look and he glared at you, eyes shooting down to your hand on Heeseung’s arm and your close proximity. “I saw it on the map.”
Heeseung nodded at his explanation and pat his back a few times in thanks, walking away from the two of you to alert the others you’d be stopping soon for a bit.
You had expected Sunghoon to follow him or at least drift back to his previous position, furthering himself away from you. It surprised you a bit when he continued to stand next to you but the look on his face didn’t, a suspicious glare as he watched you with no sign of care at your uncomfortable shifting.
“Something on your mind Sunghoon?” You were mumbling in irritation. You didn’t expect to become best friends but you hadn’t done anything to warrant him treating you like a criminal.
“Why are you still here?” He was saying it quickly like it had been on the tip of his tongue and you looked at him from the corner of your eye. “What are you planning?”
“I’m not planning anything.” You scoffed and took an offended step away from him, stopping in your slow pace. “And in case you forgot, I wasn’t given a choice in being here.”
He was stopping too and turning to look at you, sparing a glance behind him at the other boys who had continued walking. They weren’t going fast enough to leave you behind and the road was a straight shot surrounded by trees and no connected off paths so you wouldn’t lose them by stopping.
When he was facing you again he looked more angry and if you didn’t know any better you’d consider him a threat right now, a danger to you. However you’d seen the way he interacted with the group, with the dead even, and he wasn’t any issue. He was more gentle than he appeared regardless if he disliked you and was frustrated.
“Don’t bullshit me. You could’ve left if you wanted to, don’t be stupid.” He was shaking his head and you gave him a confused look so he explained further. “You didn’t even try to get away from them, no tears no questions. I can tell you’re smart and good at this world so I know you can tell the difference between a good person and a bad one.”
“Then what’s your problem with me?” You spat at him and cut him off, not wanting him to say more.
You could tell he was the most observant of the group but you didn’t like what he was implying. Your stomach turned at the thought of him seeing how much you didn’t necessarily want to be alone again, despite knowing it was the best option in the long run.
If you were alone you wouldn’t need to worry about things like this. You wouldn’t have to think about feeding them before you fed yourself because there would be no ache in your heart at the thought of them going hungry.
“My problem?” He was sneering but his voice was desperate like he wanted you to understand his point. “My problem is how excited Riki is to have a friend to talk to. My problem is that Sunoo basically thinks he owes you his life for getting you into this situation in the first place and my problem is that you aren’t going to stay.”
You both fell silent after that and he looked away from you, visibly upset and frustrated at the idea of you disappearing before you got to the place you’d showed them.
He flinched when he looked at you and saw your lips opening and closing, parting as you tried to think of something you could tell him that wouldn’t give him false hope but you also didn’t want to lie to him. Despite his wincing he waited patiently to hear what you had to say.
“Tell Heeseung I’ll catch up with you guys.” You muttered back and he watched in bewilderment as you turned and disappeared into the woods.
——
It took you an hour to stop replaying the conversation in your mind and you were glad considering you hadn’t managed to catch anything since leaving the boys on the road.
Part of you was laughing at the fact that, here you were. In the woods with full freedom and capability to disappear and never come back and yet you were sat crouching behind a log as you attempted to get them all something to eat. You quieted the voice with the reminder you could leave whenever you wanted and you would, you just didn’t want to leave them hungry and lost.
That’s all this was, you kept telling yourself over and over as you continued to track whatever animal was leaving small footprints in the dry dirt.
This was simply you being a decent person, not letting the apocalypse shred you of your morals and humanity. It wasn’t because you were starting to grow used to the boys, starting to care about them and their safety as individuals and a whole.
You’d finally caught sight of the animal as you slowed to a stop, a hefty raccoon shifting over some sticks and rocks just off in the distance. It hadn’t noticed you yet and you were glad for this considering you only had a knife to work with.
Before you could make any attempt at approaching in, steadily planning out the right angle to pounce forward, it was falling on its side and hitting the floor with a cry and a thud.
Your eyes widened in surprise, rushing forward to see what had happened to it. It’s face was bloody and you quickly realized it had been shot in the head by something, more accurately someone. You knew who it was before you turned around to check.
“You’re a good shot.” You sighed as you spoke and glanced over your shoulder to see Jungwon stepping out from behind the tree.
He was definitely the most skilled when it came to weapons, especially in accuracy and you’d quickly noted a few days ago that he was the only boy to have a silencer on his gun of choice. You knew it was him considering the fact there’d been little noise as he killed the animal.
“Took archery in highschool.” He shrugged like it was a casual skill to have as he approached you and the raccoon. “Guess I don’t have to tell you about that though do I?”
For a second you weren’t sure what he was referring to before you realized he was alluding to the fact you also shot with a bow typically, looking up at him with widened eyes which caused him to give you a half smile as he shrugged again.
“Can tell by the way you carry yourself I guess. Plus you’re a hunter, can’t imagine your weapon of choice is a knife.” He was explaining and he crouched down next to you, examining the animal for any bites or signs of disease.
“If you see any bow shops around here feel free to let me know.” You were mumbling back and he chuckled a small laugh. “They send you out here to follow me?”
He was shaking his head and you were slightly surprised at this considering you assumed he had been tasked with making sure you didn’t run away, potentially bringing you back if you made any attempt to. You were reminded of what Sunghoon had said about being able to leave whenever you wanted.
“I was looking for food just incase.” He didn’t finish his sentence but it was obvious what he was implying. Incase you didn’t return and they still needed to eat something.
Jungwon offered you a hand so he could pull you up off the ground where you were still crouching, you eyed him hesitantly but took it with an appreciative nod and stood slowly after you grabbed the animal by it’s tail in your free hand.
You followed behind him in silence as you made your way back to the road, back to where the boys had set up camp for the night. You tried not to think about what this meant and how you coming back willingly was going to come across to them. They were going to find out what you’d been trying to deny since running into them and your stomach was turning.
By the time you got there, the sun had nearly finished setting and it was almost too dark to see in front of you.
The fire the boys were sat around made you nervous considering how exposed you were and how near the woods lingered, the light and crackle of the flames potentially drawing the undead out of the woods and giving you all a replay of what had happened earlier this week. Four sets of eyes turned towards you when you and Jungwon popped out from the woods.
Heeseung was standing up and coming over to the two of you, patting Jungwon affectionately when he spotted the animal you’d handed to him at some point during your walk back.
“You okay?” Then he was turning to you and your face flushed as he grabbed you, his hands holding onto both your arms directly underneath your shoulders as he scanned your face for any sign of distress.
You were nodding awkwardly but your hands were instinctively coming up to cup around his elbows, leaving you both holding each other at an awkward distance. The other boys must have thought you were crazy as you touched their friend and leader but a large part of you felt connected to him after the auto shop, him having saved your life so directly.
When you both made your way over to the fire, Heeseung was clearing his throat and catching the attention of the older boys and Jungwon, who began to shake Riki and Sunoo awake at the signal for directions.
“We’re going to clear the house on the corner.” Heeseung was speaking in a low voice and you took the opportunity to observe where you were sitting.
The neighborhood, if you could call it that, was only a few run down houses neatly tucked away outside the main road. You imagined it had homed one or two families of rednecks in its prime, roofs titled and covered in roots and leaves. The boys had set up the fire in the middle of the three buildings, seemingly waiting for you all to be here before they entered.
“Shouldn’t we clear them all? Eliminate any potential surprises?” You were shocking yourself and the others as you voiced your suggestion casually.
Heeseung was looking at you with a bewildered look for a few seconds before glancing back towards the houses and nodding in agreement, realizing your idea was better than his.
It wasn’t the most grueling task and you’d cleared areas must bigger than this with much more active dead, yet you still had a sick feeling in your stomach as Heeseung leaned his shoulder against the first door and prepared to ram into. It only took one corpse to end everything and you tried not to think about this as he was pulling back and slamming forward against the decaying wood.
He was stumbling forward into the house and again, you could smell them before you saw or heard them. There was three inside and it looked to be a family, one significantly smaller than the other as it attempted to get closer to Heeseung and take a bit out of him. Jake was moving forward in a rush and taking out the biggest one, axe swinging over his shoulder and landing directly between its eyes with a loud crack.
The second was on its knees before you even processed it and you knew it must’ve been Jungwon from the doorway judging by the way it simply crumbled onto the floor without any fight or noise.
Riki was inside the house and tasked on the third walker, the smallest one that was clearly just barely older than him if at all. She had a large blood stain on the front of his pajama sweater and you tried not to wonder what had happened here that left them all like this, what measures were mistakenly taken to try and prevent them from turning. You didn’t like to think about the walkers being people similarly to the way you didn’t like to think about survivors in the old world, easier to make the separation and get it over with.
You could immediately tell Riki was struggling with doing this judging by the way he was frozen in the middle of the room, watching the corpse approach him.
He was facing away from you so you couldn’t see his expression but you didn’t need to anyways, knowing from his stiff back and hands fidgeting around his crowbar that he was hesitating and hesitating was one of the deadliest things you could possibly do. He had told you before that he didn’t kill as much as the other boys, being kept away from it all the best they could manage up until more recently when they started to take him out to practice in small intervals.
You were moving before you thought about it, circling in front of him and taking out the small corpse as cleanly as you could. You cupped your back of her head as she dropped, motionless now, and you tried to help lower her body onto the floor so the impact wasn’t as upsetting.
“I could’ve done it.” Riki’s voice was sounding behind you and you turned your head to look at him, standing back to your full height and giving him a confused glance once you noticed how agitated his expression was.
Before you could ask him what was wrong, if you’d done something or if maybe he was just upset you’d stepped in on his kill, he was turning on his heel and leaving the small house. You were fearful for a second watching him leave and then you remembered Sunoo, Sunghoon and Jay were just a few feet away at the other house over.
You almost followed him out the door in confusion, wanting to understand what exactly had made him look at you like that just to storm off but you were stopped by Heeseung stepping in front of you, bringing a hand up to your chest to stop your advances completely as he looked down at you with an apologetic glance.
“What happened?” You whispered to him, eyes wide slightly with confusion. The look the youngest boy had given you was deadly and the energy in the house had shifted drastically now. “What did I do wrong?”
“He’s just sensitive about that stuff.” Heeseung mumbled back, keeping his voice low in case the boy was still able to hear just off in the distance. The other boys in the house with you weren’t saying anything and eventually filed out once they realized your conversation was taking a private turn.
“Because I took his kill?” Your voice was cracking with disbelief, not able to understand what he was attempting to get across to you. Riki didn’t seem like the type to have an ego so large it would be damaged by you stepping in for an assisted kill. “It was about to grab him.”
Heeseung was sighing softly like you were poking a bear, glancing over his shoulder out the open door for a second before taking another step closer to you. You didn’t lose your confused expression, eyebrows furrowing further when he was bringing a hand up to gently touch your cheek before pushing a few loose strands of hair behind your ear.
He was clearly trying to soothe you and help you calm down but if anything it upset you further, solidifying it in your mind that you had done something wrong.
“You’ll have to talk to him about it. It’s not my place.” He was eventually continuing on when he realized what he was doing wasn’t working in taking your mind off of it.
You nodded softly and made a mental note to bring it up after things calmed down and you were certain things were safe for the night, vaguely hearing a sharp whistle outside that you’d learned to understand meant things were clear for now. The other boys must’ve cleared the other two houses while you were talking to Heeseung and now you were able to eat and get some rest finally before talking to Riki.
——
The food wasn’t a lot but it was enough to help everybody feel a bit better, passing each other small portions around the fire before retiring into one of the houses to rest.
You all decided to sleep together on the living room floor to minimize the risk that being spread out would being, somebody always staying awake in different shifts to keep watch outside on the porch. You laid in silence while you waited for your turn, knowing you wouldn’t be able to sleep in such a foreign place.
When it was the youngest turn to take watch, you sat and tracked his shadow as he left the dark room and slipped out the front door, mumbling a small greeting to Sunghoon who was finally coming in and joining the rest of the boys who were already asleep. You got up as slowly as you could and gently stepped over the bodies on the floor so you didn’t wake them up from their much needed rest, following Riki outside.
He whipped his head over when the door creaked up and sighed when he saw it was only you slowly closing it behind you. You glanced at him awkwardly and tried to decide wether to stand weirdly or to take the seat next to him on the small outside porch couch and risk upsetting him further.
“Just sit down.” He was mumbling once he noticed your dilemma and you hesitantly took the offer, sitting as far away from him as you could.
The two of you sat in silence for a while, listening to the sounds of the night and the woods while you ignored each other. You weren’t sure if you should speak first but he clearly knew why you followed him out here in the first place so you bit the bullet and started to talk before his shift ended.
“I have a brother around your age.” He picked his head up when you started to speak but you avoided looking at him for now. “You actually remind me of him sometimes, just the way you joke around. You’re a bit braver than him though but I’m sure he would’ve grown out of that eventually, you know? I didn’t mind it though… it came easy to me to take care of him.”
Riki wasn’t saying anything just yet but you could hear his breathing increase and you didn’t feel him looking at you anymore and he slowly understood what point you were trying to get across by opening up to him about this. You wanted him to understand why you did what you had for him and why it was second nature for you to step in like that once you thought he was in danger.
“I never though he was childish or a coward for needing my help sometimes, that’s what big sisters are for.” You took a pause so you could breathe, playing with your hands nervously. “It took him a long time to want to ever ask for it though… just too long I guess.”
You didn’t need to finish or directly say out loud what had happened to your brother, he picked it up as soon as you started talking about him.
He was scooting closer to you on the bench and you felt him grab your hand that was in your lap, stopping you from picking at your skin anxiously. You turned your head to look at him with a sad smile, biting your lip to try and stop from crying when you noticed how equally teary his expression was.
“You could’ve killed that walker.” You stated firmly and he nodded along with you, now fully understanding why you had. “Maybe I just didn’t want you to have to.”
Riki was still nodding and you felt slightly guilty now as you watched tears run down his face, avoiding looking at you again out of embarrassment. You wanted to tell him that it was okay if he wanted to cry, it was okay to still feel things in this world that weren’t fear and hunger but you weren’t sure that was even true so you didn’t dare voice it.
You stayed with him for the rest of his shift and when he eventually started to yawn and lose focus on your surroundings, you reassured him it was okay to go to bed and that you weren’t tired.
He hesitantly was leaving you out there and you although you were glad things were patched up between the two of you for the most part, you also felt a wave of relief over having a moment alone. It wasn’t lost on you that you were being trusted as part of the watch shift cycles, despite the fact you could easily disappear in the night and leave them with no warning if something stumbled upon the sleeping boys.
It was getting harder to deny what you were feeling more and more every passing hour the eight of you survived together.
It had bothered you when Riki was upset with you, deeply bothered you to the point of your skin crawling in nerves that you had done something wrong. You were distraught watching them all face hunger earlier this week and you felt deep sadness when they lost their camp and their home.
You especially didn’t want to consider what it meant that you liked listening to their stories around the fire. You thought Sunghoon was funny even when he didn’t seem like he realized he was telling a joke and it made your heart warm when Sunoo and Jungwon covered the sleeping older boys with blankets.
Heeseung was the worst of all, the most confusing part to all of this. You’d been most fearful of him at the beginning but the more you thought about him and his resolve, his brave heart taking leadership and treating the boys like they were more important than his own safety and survival, the more you liked being in his company.
He made you feel seen and human whenever he turned to ask for your opinion on something and he was surprisingly gentle whenever he spoke to you in hushed whispers or helped you over bits of debris in your pathway.
You liked these boys and you liked their hearts and love for each other that this world was slowly running out of.
Yet you couldn’t stop hearing the screams of your family and others you’d encountered, people you knew for months all the way to people you’d simply passed by on one of your runs. People didn’t last long in this world and it was a miracle that all seven of these boys were still together, still without major injury or setbacks.
Maybe that was the secret trick to it all, maybe their care and love for each other above all else was helping them survive and manage without facing the reality of your loved ones being tore away from you and ripped apart limb by limb.
It still made your stomach hurt to think about any of it though, it was never apart of your plan to care about somebody again after everything you’d lost and you were only feeling more and more certain in your decision to leave as fast as you could.
No matter what it takes.

death is not a friend
Death walks Rory home from work. There is no reprieve.
wc: 3,101 / tw: canonical major character death, canonical suicide, slight dubcon kissing (rory asks for it to stop near the end but, well, it doesn’t work like that)
you can also read this on ao3 <3
Death doesn’t come to Rory like he thought it would.
Rory always thought that death would descend upon him the times he couldn't get out of bed, rotting in his sheets. Formless and violent as it always seemed to be, maybe death would strip him bare like the harsh winds of the shit town he lived in. No pleasantries, just facts. Just death and all its realities bearing down on his beaten body, until his life stripped with it. That’s how death had always approached him in the past, even if those winds always slowed down before he succumbed to them.
No, death doesn’t come that way. Death comes when Rory’s standing at his shit job’s shit checkout, picking off the peeling skin around his fingernails, because even with Alex disappearing with a fucking robot lady and the world going to shit, someone has to man humanity’s last stronghold; the VHS Video store no one ever comes inside anymore. Someone’s gotta keep working, bills still gotta be paid. Unemployed assholes disappearing off the face of the Earth after wild goose chases with parallel realities and dead sisters have got nothing on minimum wage warriors.
So when Death makes His way into the Planet VHS without the bell going off, Rory’s head cocks up from his magazine in mundane shock. Death, the strange thing, isn’t stripping winds and tearing flesh. It’s not bed-rotting corpses or even mystery stains in VHS shops' carpets.
No, Death is a familiar face. Don’t ask Rory what that face is, he couldn’t tell you. Just know that he’s seen it a million times before in his life, but this time it’s clearer than ever. He’s clean compared to Rory and his hellish workplace, with a soft smile that holds the straightest white teeth you’ll ever see on a Man. He leans against the checkout counter with spread-out hands and pushes His face closer to Rory’s and that small action makes Rory too flustered to do his usual welcome to Planet VHS spiel he’s supposed to do. Rory just stares in shock.
Hey Rory, been a while, Death greets him kindly. Like He’s known him all along.
Been a while, Rory replies. Uh, what brings you here today?
Take a wild guess, Death says and Rory feels compelled to force a laugh through his dry throat. It just feels right. Death watches his open mouth with soft eyes. Care to step out with me?
No can do. I’m at work. I won’t leave even for you, man.
But you’d abandon your post for the ginger guy? I’m hurt.
Rory rolls his eyes, but it’s not angry or even all that tired of Death’s toying. Fucking stupid on my end, I know. Won’t make the same mistake. We can meet up after my shift ends. You alright with that? he asks. He picks off more of his fingernail while awaiting Death’s answer.
Death thinks about it for a moment. Well, alright, He shrugs. Then, He strides behind the counter, asking, Can I sit with you? Not that He waits for Rory’s answer, as He’s already sitting at the lone dusty stool beside Rory’s.
Just keep your hands off the merchandise, Rory says.
Death cocks His eyebrow. Are you talking about the movies? Rory doesn’t dignify that question with a response, which is more than enough for Death.
For the record, Death is kind. He keeps His hands to Himself, aside from the occasional nudge on Rory’s elbow to keep him awake, and He’s certainly not stealing any F-tier movies or anything. Rory doesn’t even get the sense that Death is really here to talk. He sits there, beside Rory all throughout his shift, obtrusive in His silence. A gentle presence in the back of Rory’s head— one he keeps sneaking glances at, one he slowly starts to wish would prod his elbow more often.
But Death keeps to His promise and so does Rory, because eventually when Rory’s shift ends and he’s free from that awful burden, the two of them step out of the building together. What did you want? Rory asks. We’re out now.
Can I walk you home?
Rory doesn’t understand. What? You came all the way here for that?
You make it sound like I was ever that far away, Death says. He rests His hand on Rory’s bicep and squeezes it gently. Rory shrugs it off his body. Come on. It’ll be nice. I’ve got a fun idea for when we get to your place.
Rory thinks about it. He thinks about it really hard. He thinks about it so hard that he doesn’t realize that Death has taken him by the hand and starts walking him to the bus stop. Not that Rory has been noticing these small bridges in between his comments; everything blends together now in a sea of agony. I don’t know, Rory says, I want to, but… He looks around and sees an older woman, clearly fresh out of a strip mall haul, waiting for the same bus he is awaiting.
Scared to be seen with me?
I… Rory looks away. He looks for the bus, which he thinks he can see coming. I don’t care about me anymore. But what would it do to my family?
Your family? Don’t tell me you still believe that ‘saving them’ crap. That’s not your job. They’re grown adults. They’ll be fine.
It’s just— both their kids, that’s—
Death squeezes Rory’s hand. The sensation isn’t painful; it chills his blood, sapping away any blazing heat left in his body. It calms Rory down, more than the late November sun. Easy, tiger, Death says. It’s gonna be fine. You’ll be fine. Everyone’s gonna be totally fine with us. Nobody’s gonna care.
Nobody’s gonna care. Yeah, yeah, that’s right. Nobody’s going to care. Rory repeats that thought over and over, until the bus comes around and Death leads him up those dirty steps and sits them down on a seat near the back. Rory on the window seat, of course. Death doesn’t mind that Rory leans his head on the window for the ride home, nor does He care about the quiet that ensues. It’s Rory’s favourite spot, right here, in the back of the bus at a window seat.
And nobody cares about that.
Rory watches the sunlight stream through the dirty bus window, hitting the seat in front of him and dancing with the bumps of cracked Jersey roads. It attracts Rory’s eyes more than the setting sun itself. His fingers twitch to reach up and feel the weak warmth of sunset sunbeams on the faux-leather bus seat. He almost gives in to the impulse.
But that warmth dies on his fingertips before he can even get his nails to scratch the seat. Exhaustion reminds Rory it’s still present within him, and his body locks up in recognition. Rory’s hand falls limp to his side. He feels Death takes it into His own hand. Death rubs Rory’s knuckles with His thumb in a loving gesture. It’s not warm, but it’s more comforting than the strain of trying. Rory lets Him shuffle closer on the bus seat.
Great, Rory thinks. Just great.
They don’t move much during the whole bus ride.
—
The bus stop is four miles away from Wind Town. Rory usually hates the walk, but he doesn’t have a car, so tough shit. He’s learned to bear the lonely hour and a half walk, eyes glued to the ground, blocking out every other sensation until he finds himself on the dirty steps of his house in the blink of an eye. It’s quick and easy. Tedious, forgettable.
It’s different this time. Death’s silence from the bus ride ceases the moment they step off the bus together. It’s a nice day, isn’t it? He points out.
Rory’s eyes scan the world before him. The trees have already changed their colour, and many of them swirl in the titular wind that breezes through the Wind Town area. It scatters brown, yellow, and red leaves past their faces.
Rory tries to ignore it, his gaze falling down to its usual position. The grimy pathway towards his horrible home. It’s just like any other day, he tells Death while they walk. Nothing really special.
That’s easy to say when you’re not looking. Come on, entertain me a little.
When Rory doesn’t reply, Death tightens His grip on his hand. They didn’t let go after they got off the bus. Rory almost pulls away from Death, but that familiar cold sensation enters his bloodstream once again. It leaves his hand feeling heavy, almost numb. Thus, his hand remains in Death’s clutches.
A red leaf blows past Rory’s face. Quercus rubra, Death whispers. Red oak. It’s New Jersey’s state tree.
…And?
They’re beautiful at this time of year. Look.
More leaves fall from their trees in the breeze. They run past Rory’s body like a rushing river, free in their final show. November’s autumn is a time of endings, of death, of freedom. One brilliant red leaf snags on Rory’s hoodie, captured by his living essence. Though the wind blows harder, and harder, the fibres of his jacket trap it to his body. Rory does not bother to brush it off.
The Sun is making its exit, Death says when they are halfway through their walk. Wind Town is in view now. It’s cold now, but in two days, Thanksgiving will be bright and unusually warm. 67 degrees Fahrenheit. What a delight.
Rory feels the Sun again. Its rays of warmth are certainly fleeting, even faster as they walk, but Rory can feel the last threads along his skin. They caress the warmth below his clothes, below his skin, into the bloodstream that Death has taken His ownership of. Rory’s never thought about the Sun and its light so much until today.
Death doesn’t make any comments for a while. But that doesn’t mean Rory stops noticing everything. His eyes fly all across the homestretch, to the dipping sun, the flying leaves, the rolling grasses, the tangles of weeds. Have these tells of life always been there? Did Rory somehow miss them, with his eyes dragging across lowly dirt and pebbles? Was this a world that hid from him until now?!
They’ve just entered Wind Town when Rory hears a familiar song, and it’s no longer just his hand that’s gone numb. Death shares His piece one last time, but Rory doesn’t need to guess what it is He’s going to tell him next.
Spinus tristis, Death says with a smile. His pearly white teeth shine too brightly in the near-darkness they stand in. The American goldfinch. Right there, on Wind Town’s sign.
Rory keeps moving. He has to keep moving. He’s marching past the sign now, storming towards his pearly white home. He’s grabbing Death’s hand as tight as he can, dragging Him, dragging Him away from that—
Doesn’t she deserve a ‘hello’? She misses you.
Don’t talk about her. Don’t you dare.
Of course, Death laughs. He picks off the red oak leaf from Rory’s sweater. It flutters away in the freezing wind. Just let me take care of you, baby. No one will be missing anyone anymore.
Rory pulls them towards the steps to the basement, his room, when Death suddenly becomes heavy in his grasp. Death plants His feet into the soil, and when Rory whips around to face Him, He shakes his head. Not down there. I’ve never liked the thought of us down there.
Rory glowers at Him. Then where? It’s the only place I…
Death leads them towards the front door. His footsteps are silent, yet swift. Candy’s not home yet. We could do it there.
Rory freezes, but he is not strong enough to plant himself like Death can. Death drags him through the front door, walking straight past the first room where all their jackets, shoes, and signs of life lay untouched now. No, no, we can’t. We can’t! Candy’s gonna come back eventually, and she’ll see us, and…
Then where do we suppose we do it, hm? In your horrid fucking room you’ve been rotting in for weeks, chasing stories and spirits you knew weren’t fucking true? Chasing after friends, men and women, who never gave a fuck about you? Is that where you want to do it? Or do you want to do it in the living room, the kitchen, the bathroom, where you don’t deserve to even show yourself in anymore?
Death’s watchful eye pierces Rory’s chest. He continues with his wicked smile, …Don’t tell me you’re considering Carrie’s room?
Rory thinks he’s going to throw up when they make it to the door of his mother’s room. But Death’s suggestion will definitely make him throw up if they go with it, so he shakes his head. No, no… no. Right here is fine. You’re right. It’s alright. But not on the bed, please, Rory insists. Candy is a cruel woman, but even she doesn’t need to see a sight like that on her bed.
She’s got the most spacious closet, doesn’t she? Death says. His free hand twists open the doorknob, then pulls it open.
Rory sees his mother’s room, neat and tidy. More stable than the woman herself. Rory turns his body to the closet doors to ignore it. Yeah, she does, he says, then opens the closet up. It is impressively spacious, the ceiling higher than Rory can reach, the garment rods the perfect height. It’s a mess, filled to the brim with clothes; men’s and women’s, mainly women’s; with furs and sequins and belts and handcuffs and rope.
Two hands on his hips twirl him around, but just as Rory’s about to protest, ice cold lips catch his soft numb ones.
It’s instantaneous. Rory wraps his arms around Death’s neck and kisses Him. They fall into step, Death pushing Rory deeper into the closet, one hand pulling the closet door closed behind them while the other caresses Rory’s hip. Rory rubs the back of Death’s neck, beckoning Him closer, begging for more, craving His touch.
Death gives it to him. His hands wander, the one on Rory’s hip dipping into his hoodie and shirt to drag against his skin. Rory still hasn’t gotten used to the cold feeling on his lips and now his belly, but he eats it up. His nerves go on the fritz, sparking and shivering closer into Death’s palms and mouth. Take me, Rory says with his body, pressing closer and closer.
A wet swipe on Rory’s lip answers his call. Rory takes in Death’s tongue like it’s made for him. This is where he’s meant to be: cornered into a closet, Death invading his mouth, Death pressing His knee against his crotch, Death’s hand pressing against his throat.
Death pulls away and Rory whines. Take a breath, He commands. You’re gonna miss it.
Rory sucks in a long breath like he’s told to do. Then Death takes Rory’s mouth into His, and His hand begins to squeeze.
Yes, finally, Rory thinks to himself. Death’s hand wraps around Rory’s throat, thick as a rope, and crushes the air into His mouth. Their kiss becomes sloppier as Death sucks Rory’s breath into His mouth. Every second saps a little more breath and energy from Rory’s body, and he gives it up happily, eagerly. How could I have gone without you for so long?
It’s only a matter of time. Their bodies press into each other and melt with every lost breath. Rory’s eyes flutter at the ecstasy he finds himself in. His body twists and contorts in search of more of that intoxicating feeling, but Death just presses His knee up harder against him and presses His hand tighter at Rory’s throat.
Look at you, Death says in between their crazed kisses. Neither of them breathe when He does so. You’ve been ready for this for a long, long time. And you’re ready, aren’t you?
Rory nods. His head is swimming as the oxygen continuously fails to reach where it matters most. He just keeps pushing it into Death, the crazy handsome Man who holds him tighter and tighter. No turning back now, mylimasis. It’s impressive you’ve made it this far.
Colours begin to gather at the corner of his sight, blues, yellows, purples, greens… red. Red like the oak leaves of the outskirts of Wind Town.  Something snaps inside of Rory.
Suddenly, Candy’s closet feels hotter than a sunset. Rory’s eyes fling open, and he sees Death still on his lips, taking him, all of him. Rory can’t feel the rest of his body anymore. It hangs limp, relying all on Death to keep him upright. Rory looks past Him, past the tacky clothing, and sees the last sunbeams streaking through the shutters of the closet door. One beam of light shifts, directly onto Rory’s eye, blinding him for an agonizing moment. It is warm. It is life.
Rory dreaded those things. Hated them, even. Why does he want them now? Why does his body crave the red oak leaf to get caught in his hoodie, the sun to warm his face, the goldfinch to sing him awake from this horrible place he’s found himself pinned to?
Death shifts His position, blocking that last sunbeam, and plunges Rory back into His darkness.
Rory never focused on those mundane details of life. They never mattered to him. But with Death sucking the life out of him, second by second, taking those few things away… Rory’s thoughts are clouded by them. They overwhelm him.
Rory doesn’t want this.
He doesn’t want this—
“No…” Rory chokes out into Death’s lips. He tries to shake his head, but Death remains. “Don’t…!”
I’m afraid I gave you the chance to back out, Rory. There is no reprieve.
Rory tries to move his arms, to untangle them from Death’s neck, to stop his body from holding Him closer. He cries, yes, he cries, “M-mo—m, mom…”
Candy won’t be back for hours. I can’t get off even if I wanted to. I am sorry.
Rory can’t fight back. Even as he really wants to.
Rory hangs limp in Death’s arms as He slowly, agonizingly, takes His time. Death whispers sweet nothings into their kiss as His hand wrings out every last breath from Rory’s pretty mouth. Until the wind in his lungs gives up, like the winds of his shit town have done long ago. Rory’s breath settles in Death’s tongue, and He smiles.
Death leaves Rory’s body like He knew He would.

ulfric is definitely gay but only with relation to galmar (mutualism), he hasn't really ever liked anyone since enough to pursue. he is also gay only because he detests women and finds them disgusting after spending some time with elenwen in the torture dungeons, the events shuffling his neurons. same as ulfric, galmar is also light in the loafers, except out of choice. i just don't think he'd find the same 'excitement' in women. he sticks with ulfric atm because 1. of duty and 2. he's very much obsessed with the security ulfric's mental illness and need for reassurance brings him. He just makes him feel good! and ulfric's not even necessarily trying to. iykyk rikke is straight only cause she hasn't had the chance to experiment (always surrounded by men). she likes a responsible manly man. currently likes tullius and is failing at life Hard bc of it. probably used to like ulfric and/or galmar back when they were bffs but never got to join their men-only pond bathing sessions tullius is bis😁exual! and it drives him nuts, cause he's not allowing himself to get into male-on-male action fully. imagine that paired with his blossoming altmer fetish. it's a hard life to live let me tell U that ....... likes women when they're interesting enough and is more 'attracted' to men. he's more likely to Like an altmer woman. for men it's just a bonus. a big bonus. if he's an altmer. elenwen My daisy flower rose petal Goddess is straight but also i think she's above having a sexuality. i think she likes others based on how interesting she thinks they are, similar to tullius. don't waste her time elisif is bisexual but not in a way she's ready to comprehend with her frail mind (concussion after ulfric's shout that evaporated her boo boo hubby into slop also threw her against a wall), she just kinda searches for literal crumbs of Anything from anyone, will start liking someone if they're nice to her in many ways. bonus if you see her as a snelf like me: she tends to fall for th*lmor very easily cus she sees them often and likes being in their presence due to feeling some sort of familial elf-tie with them (tired of being around humans all the time) hmmmm.... these are most important so i'll talk about anyone else under the cut
fasendil my cuteums is the straightest man(mer) aliiive i think it's cus of the empire's influence. as i mentioned before tullius would have an eye on him but fasendil would swiftly reject him and lose any respect for him completely. he and rikke would be cute and have a very lukewarm Milk boiled water unsalted soup relationship, saying this nicely, i like them talvas my sweety ugly butterfly Apple fairy (sorry i didn't mean to call you that) is gay but he's not registering that information yet in 'canon' events; he's not really interested in love and isn't seeking it out. can't you see he's preoccupied.. with learning.. unlike you lowlifes.! probably never been attracted to a girl, doesn't think about them. he feels happier when praised by men, too. neloth is .... it's hard to tell tbh, but first and foremost i'd say he likes them YYYYOUNG (around 20-30 in human years) and prefers guys over women, just cus he thinks women are harder to deal with, annoying and r fussier. he probably isn't a fan of the usual affection that comes from women, makes him cringe really hard. prefers more of a hesitant type. why not say smth about this bozo: morgul is defffo gay. Bruh you left orc society to hang with ugly twink elves in some ashy stranded island?? 😂😂 bye maybe slitter lets him hit sometimes (is the pay that good?) lleril is an interesting case to me actually, i just remembered when i was reading up on adril it was mentioned he doesn't sleep in the same bed as his wife and it made me laugh really loud; Wow........ explains it all rly. lleril probably thinks nobody can tell he's gay even tho everyone.....can.......... and adril is literally walking around that dinky town doing backflips for him so.. Hm ancano is gay and likes the younger impressionable ones because nobody cares about his ugly ass ever. those always tend to be altmer, or just thalmor subordinates savos is also a blooming pansy with No experience. i think he's pretty good at making his feelings not known (and generally tends to not interact with a bunch of people) so yeah....... nothing LMFAOO this is why he needs some talvas twink action stat i think i ran out of thoughts for now but if anything else comes 2 mind i'll add it later😝

...You Make Lemonade
A little snippet based on a comment made by @straight4joekeery in my "When Life Gives You Lemons..." post. "Women are like lemons, I love lemons!" I loved it so much, I had no choice but to write an entire fic about it!
~*~*~*~
Everyone knew that Eddie Munson was a weird kid. He had long hair, listened to music that was more screaming than singing, and never bent to fit any mold. So why would he conform to society’s boring sayings when he could make his own? Ever since he was a kid, he’s had a habit of constructing his own phrases and idioms.
Sometimes it would be something close enough to the original idiom that no one would call him out on it. The phrase, “I’ll burn that bridge when I get to it” has become a common one amongst the boys of Hellfire. He used to say “he’d kill for less” but that seemed a little too brash in light of what occurred over Spring Break what with his murder accusation and innocent teens dying.
Nevertheless, some of Eddie’s more outlandish sayings had worked their way into everyday speech for the Party. It wasn’t uncommon to hear one of the kids talking about the “devil kicking their kidneys” during physical exertion or mentioning how “neutral, and not even chaotically” people were when they bored them (a reference to Eddie’s least favorite moral alignment in D&D). However, the sayings always seemed stranger coming out of Lucas’ or even Dustin’s mouths than they did Eddie’s.
The point is, everyone that has ever met Eddie knows that he can say some pretty off-the-wall things. However, Steve had never been privy to the sayings with Eddie’s odd twists until a random weekday afternoon spent getting high in his trailer. It all started because the weather was getting warmer. Eddie was supplying the weed so Steve brought refreshments for the both of them to enjoy.
“Do you want some lemonade?” He asked him, his hands already passing him a bottle.
Eddie nodded. “Well, you know what I always say. Men are like lemonade and I like lemonade.”
Then he took the bottle and a long gulp.
Steve paused for a moment and just stared at Eddie. Was this a big coming out like it had been with Robin in the movie theater bathroom? What had Robin told him to say in this situation?
“Um, thank you for telling me. I’m honored that you trusted me enough to divulge that information about yourself and I accept you.”
Eddie turned to him with barely concealed panic in his eyes but that quickly turned to mirth upon hearing Steve’s reply. “That was the most rehearsed and scripted response I’ve ever heard. How’d you learn that, did you see it in a PSA?”
“No! Ro- my friend told me that’s what sh-they wished someone had said to he-them,” Steve stumbled. Holy shit, he almost outed Robin. That’s like the worst thing you can do to a friend!
Eddie looked at him fondly. “That’s adorable, Stevie. Also, I know about Robin.”
“What?! How do you know about Robin?”
“Birds of a feather, Steve. They flock together,” he commented wisely and took another drag of their shared joint.
“Oh, that makes sense. That’s probably why I’m friends with you guys. You know, because I’m bi.”
Immediately, Eddie’s eyes went wide and he took a sharp inhale which caused him to cough uncontrollably. Once his breathing started to return to normal, he choked, “bi?”
Steve nodded sagely, “yeah, bi. As in bisexual. That’s what you call it when you like both guys and girls.”
“I got that,” Eddie said, rolling his eyes dramatically. “Just you? You’re the straightest person I’ve ever met.”
“Hey, don’t insult me! Just because I still like girls doesn’t minimize my attraction to guys. I’m going to tell Robin that you-”
“No, no, no! I’m not judging you, I’m just surprised. But uh, thank you for telling me.” Eddie leaned over the space between them and gave Steve’s shoulder an awkward pat.
“Okay, what the hell was that?” Steve asked him in the bitchiest tone he could muster. “Give me a hug like a normal person.”
Eddie gave a long-suffering sigh but the grin on his face showed his jest. “If you wanted to get your hands on me, you should’ve just said so.”
When Wayne walked in on his nephew and Steve Harrington making out on his couch just a few hours later, he couldn’t even say he was surprised. Scarred forever and washing his eyes out with soap? Yes. But not surprised.

IDOL LIFE - crazy people + lia
Tumblr media
genre: smau, fluff, idol au, possible smut hints but i don't think it will be something very detailed (?), angst maybe (sad things WILL happen.)
pairing: idol! han x æspa 5th member! reader
appearances and specifications: ok, so it will be the whole skz, the whole æspa, as for the bestie group that y/n has: yuqi from (g)i-dle, lia and yuna from itzy, minji from newjeans. also, felix is childhood besties w y/n (I HAVE AN UNHEALTHY OBSESSION WITH BEING BESTIES W FELIX IDK). In this au, I invented a new award show, called Korean Music Award, (shortly KMA) so I won't interfere with any other award show that has amazing MCs. Also, this is my first time doing a smau (smile through the pain and struggle 😔) so yall, please be kind😞.
synopsis: Since you have debuted, you have made lots of friends from different groups that you admired. And one group you admired was your bestfriend's group, Stray Kids. Since they debuted, you have been a devotated stan, always buying their merch and albums, always watching their lives, videos and m/vs. However, you haven't had the right time to actually meet everyone face to face, being incredibly occupied with your own group's activities. As you were already a group for over 1 year, you have been selected for being an MC for KMA. What happens though, when you see that you have to MC with one of your biggest idols?
Tumblr media
Tumblr media Tumblr media
yuqi (yuqisacutie)
-> group: (G)I-DLE
-> loves y/n so much, literally her bigger sister
-> met y/n while they were still trainees. they were in a store and she heard some humming coming from a girl with big headphones on her head, which was y/n. y/n noticed her and she smiled to yuqi. they met a few more times in the store and then they started talking
-> the groupchat's funniest person
-> people may think she is serious sometimes, but she is actually joking
lia (julyia)
-> group: ITZY
-> sweetest person in the groupchat
-> people say she is the sane one out of them
-> she isn't. but she does take the mother role in the group since she feels the most responsible there
-> she is right about that.
-> met y/n through yuna, actually
-> then she joined the group
Tumblr media Tumblr media
yuna (richbitchyuna)
-> group: ITZY
-> y/n's #1 bully, but she is actually her bestfriend since they met
-> y/n met yuna when both of their classes at school were over and they bumped into each other. y/n recognized yuna immediately and before apologizing, yuna said it wasn't a big deal and in order to "pay" for her mistake, y/n should take her to the café next to the school
-> that's what they did and found out they have a lot of things in common.
-> yuna tried to make a quick arrangement once, when she found out y/n's bias is han, but y/n found out sooner then she should and yuna's plan failed
minji (wassupminji)
-> group: NEWJEANS
-> has 4 kids, but isn't really invested, she treats them more like sisters
-> there isn't someone who is more random than minji, she could say the most random stuff with the straightest face EVER.
-> met y/n during MAMA awards, she thought æspa's performance was amazing, so she went in their cabin and talked with the members
-> friendship at first sight between her and y/n, but she is also friends with ningning
taglist!!
(to be added, just write a comment)

That reminded me when there was an article about how he met his wife in the church and like it was a love at first site, and some twittard retweeted it with something like "this is the straightest most boring story ever" and I was just sitting there thinking that we're doomed. Hate Chris Pratt or his acting all you want, but he's still a real person he doesn't deaserve this. No one does.
Posting as a response to a previous ask.
